Hope I don't use it.
Avoided the extended warranty for about 3 months. When it went on sale at 40% off, I decided it was worth it. If I never use it, I won't know if it was worth it or not.

Paid for after-warranty plan and received nothing!
So glad to finally hear from someone. I paid for an after warranty service contract but NOTHING has been delivered to my laptop. My HP Support Assistant still indicates my support plan is expired but I paid for the after-warranty plan a few weeks ago. Online, it reads my plan is delivered but it has not been delivered. Can someone help me please?

I a Hewlett-Packard customer since day one of owning a computer, the factory 🏭 warranty expired on my laptop so it is definitely in my best interest to spend a couple of BUCKS TO PROLONG THE LIFE OF MY INVESTMENTS. Everything that i have is HP like i was saying. I owen a new desktop computer, inkjet printer along with the desktop and the thing that I would tell anyone to always make sure that you have warranty coverage, but I'm not saying HP products are something you want to worry about having issues with. What I really enjoy is that it's called CARE PACKAGE, which means if you are having a kind of problem, issue with you're systems thier is a real human being to speak with at the other end who knows how to deal with the situation we have created and can't figure out what to do. THAT IS WHAT I MEAN BY CALLING IT A CARE PACKAGE ♡♡♡♡

Carepak Totally worth it
I only buy HP laptops for a reason. I had to use my warranty once so far in 3 years. I didn’t get a runaround. My system stopped functioning but the hard drive was okay. I got the mailer box, sent it off and laptop came back good as new. Motherboard replaced. I won’t be without a warranty on my HP system.

Problems with purchase
Actually had problrmd trying to purchase 1 yr ex warranty. Called HP and after 35 min was connected to customer service. Evidently my debit card was read as an international card and rejected multiple times as was my credit card. Purchase was finalized, but i have nothing clarifying what warranty covers. My HP dashboard does not indicate current warranty.

Signing Up is WAY too hard.
I have not had the product long enough to know its value. I will say that the sign up process was a nightmare and the reps with whom I spoke were not at all helpful

Yes, but
I like HP and HP products I really do, but nothing seems to download the way it should and your phone tree to get situations resolved is a nightmare. Once things are finally fixed it's fine, but I sure wish it was easier to talk to a human being to resolve issues quickly and easily.
