Quality much needed
Had bought a generic toner that totally messed up the inside of our printer. Got it all cleaned out and original toner installed. Seemed to run out sooner than expected. New toner looks perfect. Just hope it lasts.

Black Toner for Prechool
The quality of the ink is great. We do seem to go through the ink fast, though. We do not keep track of every page we print, but we are skeptical that we print 2800 pages with each cartridge. We switched to the high yield rather than the original cartridge, but we do not believe we are getting more prints with the high yield cartridge.

It's a black toner!
Pros:
I ordered.
The toner arrived in about 3 days.
Installation was a simple and the low toner warning indicator disappeared.
Cons:
The price.
This toner costs nearly half as much as the printer.
30 years ago toners were $120 and were rated for several thousand pages.
My conclusion is that toner is an extremely rare substance and HP is unable to find an engineering solution to reduce costs.

Love my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 277DW...Great copies and printing, Fast, Efficient and Reliable for our home use!
Reason for "4" stars...WHY does a $250 printer "full replacement cartridge set" have to cost almost $500??? I Always return my used cartridges to HP for recycling and reuse...Saves HP $$$ and much better for the environment. However, I get no sizable discount on future cartridge replacements for being a loyal HP consumer and for saving HP $$$!!!
Come on HP, give us loyal customers a nice break! ;)
