Ink a necessary evil
I'm sure the product is fine but we all know the cost of ink is ridiculous. Additionally HP was disappointing with their incredibly slow delivery.

Easiest cartridge to use
I like these ink cartridges, but are becoming more difficult to find because they're for my old HP printer. I purchased my printer back in 2005 because of inexpensive ink cartridges. Unfortunately, as time rolls on, the price for 2 black cartridges is now $44 compared to $44 for 2 black and 1 color cartridge. It won't be long before I will have purchase a new one, hopefully with inexpensive ink.

Excellent Ink Cartridges but a little expensive.
I am very glad that HP still makes the HP 21 Twin pack Black Inkjet Print cartridges. I have an old HP PSC 1410 All-in-One printer that still works and it uses the HP 21 cartridges which is really great. The only problem that I have encountered was that the price for these cartridges seem to be higher than more recent printer cartridges. I guess the older your printer, the more expensive it is to make the cartridges. Other than that, these HP 21 Twin pack Black Inkjet print cartridges are excellent.

The # 21 HP ink cartridge is really just fine as are all HP cartridges I have purchased/used for many years. And the time involved to receive it was "just fine" as well. The low rating comes because apparently HP does not make the 701 cartridge anymore and does not have a compatible replacement for 701. The 701 fits my old and reliable model HP 2140 fax machine.....and is a FAX only! I loved it as it is small, fit in my office near the phone jack and for the last 10 years or so was used only once a month (with only 1 or 2 exceptions). My wife runs her own business from our home and as printers wore out, the newer ones included the fax as well. I kept the old 2140 for myself & the 701 ink would last nearly 3 years. Recently I could not get a 701 locally and your HP Cust. Ser. agent really worked & researched a lot to find something compatible to replace the old 701...Many thanks to her for her time and effort. Alas, the # 21 would not snap into place in my dear old HP 2140 Faxer. The small ridges on the top/front of the cartridge did not match up with the locking metal clip. And the Ele. contact pattern was different. I returned it as per HP's return procedure. I suppose my old 2140 fax must be retired as I have been for 9 years. The #21 ink had a great price as well. I have used refills in the past and they did not work well at all. I suppose I will turn in the old 2140 Faxer for recycle at my office supply store on my next trip there. Thank you for your time in reading this and rest assured the Palasky household will continue using HP hardware.

Great Product
HP does a great job in improving the ink quality. No smear of ink at all, very high quality. Documents look crisp and clean. I thought the ink was great before purchasing my new order of ink, but was more surprised at another higher level of quality. Wow factor.

Best printer ink
It’s the only printer ink that works well in my printer. Color cartridge (#22) never lasts very long, the black (#21) usually lasts about 3 months. I think the price is high, compared to other HP ink cartridges I’ ve seen. This is a home computer and I probably use the printer once or twice per week.

There is not currently a high yield option for that unit. Just the standard 21 black and 22 tricolor options are available at this time.

what is the expiration date
HP cartridges do not have expiration dates. They will come with a best-if-used-by date. That date is determined by when the cartridge was manufactured and will appear on the product box. As this will vary, no information is available on what the Best By date would be on an individual cartridge.

Whats going on w/HP21 Ink cartridges? I purchased one 3/9 fr a local Walmart that didn't work & they wouldn't take it back. I traveled to buy another one fr a office supply store 45 min fr where I live. That one worked but stopped 4/10 - less than 50 pgs.
