Surprisingly sturdy and super light for such a slim profile. Easy to set up after figuring out how the stand neck slides and snaps into place. Simple connection to the Macbook and excellent picture quality for graphics and photos.

NOT MOUNTABLE. IS THERE A MOUNTING KIT AVAILABLE?
I was shopping specifically for a monitor I could mount -- this one is not mountable and should have clearly marketed as such. If there is a mounting kit available, could HP Customer Service please send me a complimentary one for my trouble. If so, I will revise my rating be cause I like the size and display quality.

Power cord went out after less than a month.
I really loved how big it made everything however, out of the blue it turned off and never came back on. I tried every way suggested and it simply won't turn back on. I've changed outlets, pulled out all the cords and waited ten minutes and nothing worked.

Great 28 monitors
Very clear monitors, looks great, instantly was configured by the computer and setup to be the best viewing. Replacing my 5 year old 24s with new 28s. Hope to get that many years or more. The 24s are getting repurposed since they are still good. Only upgraded because of getting old and needed bigger displays.

What is the difference between the 27" mq model and the 27" mq Gaming model
Thank you for your question! We are unable to find a 27"MQ Gaming monitor by HP but we were able to do a comparison with the HP X27QV QHD gaming monitor. That gaming monitor and gaming monitors in general will have a better contrast ratio of almost 3 to 1 and a better response time as well. This will help with screen "ghosting" when objects are in motion during gameplay.
