Great size and resolution. Backlight was inconsistent and distracting. Didn’t keep it and HP charged a restocking fee. Will never shop at hp.com again.

I love the size!
I just got this monitor and have only used it with text and simple videos. I haven't yet viewed my 4K videos which really drove my decision to get this one. I like the large size and ability to make text large enough for these old eyes to see more easily. Display is very clear and sharp.

Dissapointed shopping from HP
I have received a product which does not work, after an hour talk to a tech, they ordered a replacement. It took them two weeks to do the replacement and again they have sent me a wrong item! I am so frustrated and the support always tell me be assure we will solve your issue in the best way!

Great monitor
I really like this monitor, and it basically a plug and play. It comes on when I wake up my laptop, and goes to "sleep' when my laptop does. The only downside I've found is the display surface is some kind of plastic, so it scratches very easily. Now that I know, I can take proper precautions,

Connected it and away it went!
When first connected it seemed to have some issues (small black squares being displayed), but a couple of reboots solved that issue. Plug and Play! It caught me off guard that it didn't have speakers as did my previous monitor.

High quality/sharpness of image lasting for years
I have had an HP 2709m for a dozen or so years, with it showing as sharp of an image as the first time I plugged it in. This was in a large part due to the quality, and part due to the UPS I have always had it powered with. I look for this new monitor - which I only got due to the new laptop requiring the Display Port connector - to provide the sharpness and perfect images it currently does for years to come. I am enjoying the port for the audio too.

Great Monitor!
I bought this monitor over a month ago and tested it out before reviewing. It is an excellent monitor for both gaming and work. It has a clear image and allows you to make some adjustments as needed if you want a different image. The only downside is that it has no sound system so you will need to buy your own speakers.

Great monitors
I purchased two monitors to replace some existing HD monitors on my desktop. These UHD monitors have much cleaner/clearer images and text. They were the last part of an overall upgrade to my system, moving to a true workstation with SSD and high-performance graphic adaptor. These monitor just finished the system.

Great buy but....
I bought this product recently and was disappointed that I had to go out and purchase the cable that runs from the monitor to the CPU. It needed a displayport to mini displayport cable to function.

Great monitors!
I bought 2 HP 27mq to set up my home office to work from home. I used to have 3 24" monitors. They are a little crowded on my desk. The 2 27" are perfect. I love the portrait option so I can have one portrait and one landscape. They are easy to set up both physically and with my computer. I do have to pick up a display port to HDMI cable in order for them to work with my laptop docking station.

The video in HD is fine. The audio is weak. Ive tried everything possible to increase volume. I gave up and bought some cheap computer speakers. Now is okay.

Great Picture - Weak Sound
Our experience with the HP 27fw with audio has been that we love the crisp, clear video that it brought along with its 27-inch size. When we disconnected our adjunct speakers to connect to the monitor, we were expecting great sound. We were disappointed. (I understand that there is only so much space for speakers on the back of the monitor, and was expecting a little less quality and sound, but not that much.) We immediately reconnected our adjunct speakers. I am a HP person and will continue to use their products.

What is the difference between the 27" mq model and the 27" mq Gaming model
Thank you for your question! We are unable to find a 27"MQ Gaming monitor by HP but we were able to do a comparison with the HP X27QV QHD gaming monitor. That gaming monitor and gaming monitors in general will have a better contrast ratio of almost 3 to 1 and a better response time as well. This will help with screen "ghosting" when objects are in motion during gameplay.
