Rated 5 out of 5 by tooolnut from Ergonomic and easy to use Really useful for data entry. Easy to program. It has an auto power saving feature when not in use, though we are encouraged to switch it off, I'm not sure why. The only thing I would like to add is some kind of dust cover to keep its keys clean; for now, I just flip it upside down when not in use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anonymous from HP 430 Got it for the nine programmable keys. Works well but am disappointed that the keys are limited to seven characters. I got it for username and password entries, but since all of mine exceed that limit, it doesn't meet my need. Recommend you edit the product description to state the per-key character limit.

how do i program keys on this device if the hp accessory app is not available to chromebook users

Thanks for your question. MacOS and Chrome devices are compatible with limited features. The HP Accessory Center (HPAC) software is only available in the Windows and Apple stores.

Can this connect through bluetooth to my HP Laser jet printer/fax 4104fdw? I find the key pad on the printer cumbersome when dialing out to fax. Or is there another option for the printer key pad?

Hello, James. Thanks for your question. The HP 430 Programmable Wireless Keypad (7N7C2AA) connects via Bluetooth and is mainly intended for use with computers and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. Unfortunately, it won’t work with your HP LaserJet Pro MFP 4104fdw printer/fax, as this printer doesn’t support Bluetooth keyboard connections. We recommend trying the HP Smart app to send faxes. There is a Mobile Fax option.
