The Friends are very knowledgeable and friendly. An excellent resource to set up a new computer and roust out any bugs! I also have a Friends account for my main desktop and am very reassured that glitches can be quickly resolved. Highly recommended by me!

HP ENVY Laptop 17t-ch100
I recently purchased an HP ENVYLaptop 17t-ch100 for my daughters' masters work and she loves
it! The 17" screen is awesome and can preview things she couldn't on her old machine. It contains a 4 cell battery as opposed to a 3 cell and with the Intel Core i7-1195G7 with turbo boost it functions flawlessly. It's got plenty of ram and storage space. All in all I strongley recommend it!

Where is the service??
This sounded like a good idea but I have no information on how to use this service. I reached out to HP after receiving my new laptop and was assigned a case number. After I was told that they could not help me linking my mouse to the new laptop. I was told I would have to pay for help. Very disappointed

Poor Smart Friend Service
SmartFriend charges you $46 a month even if you don’t sign up with them and I don’t need their service. They don’t answer emails and when you call and speak to someone they try to sell you more accessories. Horrible company!!!

We have not figured out how to connect with this service and have ben unable to connect with HP on this. Not worth the money we paid, if we cannot use the service.

I regret purchasing this computer
My $2,200 Omen laptop arrived defective. I've spent 6 hours attempting to resolve software issues alone and other 3 hours with a HP representative. The first HP representative told me I did not purchase the correct plan for technical assistance as I was reading the invoice that shows HP 3 Year with accidental damage AND 6 months of tech support. I regret my purchase and wish I could have a full refund.

Called about an issue and the first technician was a little difficult to understand and I was not sure he understood what I was trying to say. He connected me with another tech and the second tech was a whiz. He understood the problem and fixed it right away. It's good to know they are there!!

Just cannot get email to work but it is currently believed this is an ATT problem and not HP's. (worst time of my life) That may change if ATT is ever able to fix problem. Otherwise, the HP computer is really very good.

My 1st call to Smartfriend Service.
Called since I thought I had to register my computer. Rep had no idea and took long time for him to find out. Asked about transferring my data to new HP computer and could not understand anything he said in his explanation. I'm wondering if my subscription is worth the cost.

Start Date should be when Computer is built.
SmartFriend Service start date should be when the computer is built. So, I am paying for SmartFriend Service on a computer that does not exist because I ordered a custom built computer.
