This is a excellent brand for all products. The shipping is fast and customer service if needed is helpful and friendly. As fast as combo packs, they are the best, for it is very efficient and last a long time, and the ink is bright and vibrant for colors, which does not run.

I don't think the price was much different anyway but they were shipped quickly and I received them quickly enough. The only problem with these ink cartridges is that they hold way too little ink for the price, otherwise they work great

Can you put a black ink cartridge where the color cartridge normally goes. I VERY SELDOM NEED COLOR INK.

Hello. Thanks for your question. You cannot replace the tricolor ink cartridge with a black ink cartridge. You can use your printer in single-cartridge mode. That means you can take out the tricolor ink cartridge. And the printer will go into single cartridge mode automatically so you can print with the black ink cartridge.
