I was surprised the cost of these cartridges. There were other cartridges from others that were generic refills that were less than $2 less than these new. I haven't used them yet but being new & HP n a HP printer they should b fine. jjD - 3623 - 0805

Good product but lousy app
Interesting that this is first HP ink cartridge that had me print and scan an alignment sheet for improved print quality, even though my previous #61 were assumed to be authentic. Also liked the return for recycle feature, as I had routinely recycled locally. Did not like the fact that the HP Support Assistant told me that the previous cartridge was "good" when it wasn't and that this new cartridge was only "good" ( < 50% full ).

Printer loves HP ink
Loading the REAL HP cartridges was a breeze, unlike trying to load those fakes packaged in HP looking boxes. I know my HP printer is happy because it effortlessly produces immaculate pages.
When looking to purchase replacements, be sure to read descriptions very carefully.

I only used my #61 XL ink on few pages, and I am getting message that my ink is low. I always use 61 XL on my printing, but maybe it dries when not it use for several days?

GOOD MORNING,I HAVE A DESK JET 2640 PRINTER. CAN I REPLACE JUST THE BLACK INK CARTRIDGE AND STILL HAVE THE PRINTER WORK. I NEVER PRINT ANYTHING THAT REQUIRES COLORED INK. THE # ON THE CARTRIDGE IS 65. WILL THIS WORK AS A REPLACEMENT.
Thank you for your question! The HP Deskjet 2640 printer uses the HP 65 cartridges. The HP 63 will not be compatible. Also in your printer, you can use one cartridge instead of having both. However, the color cartridge is used to make black printing darker. For best results, it is recommended to have both cartridges installed.
