The cartridge is defective. The printer says The indicated cartridge not communicating correctly with the printer if it continues replaced cartridge. I have reinserted it several times and it still will not work. I would like a replacement one..

Going back to the original cartridges
I used to buy remanufactured cartridges and although they were cheaper, I had problems with them. I never get those cartridges again, only now the original. Maybe they cost more, but I don't have to worry if my printer don't recognized them.

Not good customer service
I installed this and went through the set up and it was o.k. I didn't use the color for a while and when I did the message came up that it was not installed correctly, I removed it and reinstalled it and got the same message. I still had the old one that was almost empty and reinstalled it and it was fine, therefore this is a faulty one. I have tried all the phone numbers and online help and have not been able to either talk to someone or chat! I

HP 63XL Black
I bought this printer back in June and when it said I need to replace the ink it did not say which one. So I took a chance and only replaced the black ink and so far everything seems to be ok. My other HP printer would tell me which ink needed to be replaced. I do like my HP products. Got an error message tonight but that didn't tell me anything so had to shut it down. Hope it works when I try to print again.

I have an HP Officejet 3830 All-In-One printer, out of warranty and discontinued. I have HP63XL ink cartridges. If my printer fails, what comparable replacement printer will accept the 63s?
They have discontinued ALLL printers that use 63 inks. Which we have found out the hard way having to find replacement printer for our 3830 printers. We get a notice that it will no longer receive update or be serviced. We are pretty angry right now.

I bought an HP63 color cartridge a bit ago and it appears to have malfunctioned and no longer prints color. I checked that it was properly seated, no apparent damage. What is the warranty period, if any? No receipt or date of purchase.
