Rated 1 out of 5 by NYC/LA from Not good unless you’re subscribed It’s insulting and ridiculous that HP is forcing customers to purchase the ink monthly . I’ve tried enrolling in the program but I simply don’t print much , however the ink they send you for subscription is of the highest quality and lasts long time . Now if you just want to buy regular HP ink and not enroll in monthly program you will pay exact same amount but your ink will disappear after ten pages !! I am vastly disappointed and I am regretting dearly buying HP printer because I hate to be forced into spending money for service I don’t use .

My problem is that I dont use my printer very often and the ink cartridge often has dried up before I print my next page. I usually resort to borrowing someone else's printer because my ink has dried up between uses.

When I called HP, they took me at my word and immediately sent a replacement by express delivery. This time there was no problem and I have been using it regularly. Both deliveries came with a pre-paid bag to return old cartridges for recycling.
