Just buy the cartridge. The Instant Ink is a truly sketchy. They can stop use of a cartridge you installed from Instant Ink when you stop service? I barely print and am charged monthly for ink? Total nonsense. This cartridge will probably last me six months or more. just buy the cartridge.

Faulty cartridge.
The black ink cartridge was faulty. Message on printer indicated I should get another cartridge as this one did not work.
Hard to take the faulty one back for refund since it came by mail.
I purchased replacement cartridge at local Office Depot so it would be possible to take a faulty one back for refund if necessary.

Good ink cartridges, dry up unused in a month or two.
These ink cartridges always work well when recently installed, but I do not print many pages, and even with the printer turned off, in a month or two, they do not work at all, and must be replaced. It ends up that it costs me over $3.00 per page just for the ink. I have a HP Envy photo 7855 printer.

I ordered the wrong size ink and you guys wouldn’t let me exchange it because I opened it, it was the wrong size, it didn’t work in my printer so it’s still brand new. Still wouldn’t let me exchange it. I will never buy up again

Ink dries up if not used regularly
I discovered that if I don't use the printer regularly the ink dries up or becomes unusable. Good $$ wasted with this printer because of the ink issue.If you use it often, no problem. Every now and then - printing issues because of dried up ink, throwing them away

We couldn’t find our latest auto shipment of 64 cartridges and tried to use 62 cartridges that we had for backup. Although they would work we were notified that 62 cartridges were not part of automatic system so we ordered 64 cartridges that arrived in two days and work fine

Ink Cartridges 64 Black Noir/Tri-color
I typed in the exact model of my printer into your search to find the correct ink cartridges, HP Envy 5052 and several ink cartridges came up. I purchased the double 64 Black Noir & Tri-color and they do not work in my printer. I tried to return them only to be notified via email that I cannot return the ink cartridges because they’ve been opened. I am out over $40 because your site suggested the wrong ink cartridges for my printer and I cannot return them because they’ve been opened, none of this makes sense. Poor business practices! I won’t be shopping with HP again, I will buy my cartridges somewhere else with better knowledge of what work with my printer.

The 64 standard and 64XL cartridges are not compatible with the 6400e series printer line. You can use either the 67 standard or 67XL cartridges with the ENVY 6400e series printers.
