Do not buy. Printers will not detect these cartilages. I spent 60.00 plus on 2 cartilages and my printer will not detect either. I did the trouble shooting, none of that worked. Put old cartilages back in, they were detected. total rip off

So far, I am pleased with the tri-color cartridge. I just loaded it into my printer and I only printed a few things in color. It is really too soon to give a true rating. I am hoping that I can get more copies than with my first order with you. However, my response is based on my satisfied history with HP tri-color purchases from Staples.

Poor Quality Tri-color Cartridge
I was disappointed with the Tri-color cartridge. The content of the cartridge did not give many copies before it ran out. What made it so bad was that I was printing pages with only 1% of the content in color. It was never a whole page of fill-in color. I went through 2 tri-color cartridges to the one black cartridge of which I am still using. Clearly poor quality coming directly from HP.

I love my old printer, and I used to be able to buy the 75XL ink to print large quantities. However, hp has discontinued the XL product so I had to buy this one. It does the job, but it is pricey for the low copy count.

I always order HP 74 XL and HP 75XL cartridges, but those items were out of stock when I placed my last order, The HP74/75 2-pack cartridges work okay, but have to be replaced much more often than the 74XL and 75XL cartridges. I hope they have those available next time I order!!

Thank you for your question! The HP Deskjet D4200 is a series of printers and not the actual individual printer. However, the D4260, which is in that series, does use this HP 75 ink for color and the HP 74 for black ink.
