Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Black is flooding out all other colors! I replaced my Black and Yellow cartridges at the same time. Yellow is not coming out at all... it's all black. I set up a graphic image file, an all-yellow canvas. First printing is all-black. second printing gives me a small amount of yellow, mostly black. 3rd, 4th and 5th printing a little more and a little more and a little more yellow. Same for the 7th 8th and 9th printing. I'm getting to an almost faithful representation of the yellow color in my canvas. Next day we are back to printing all black for the yellow canvas. I've cleaned the heads and pulled out and re-inserted the cartridges several times now. To say I'm upset is a gross understatement.

Prior to my HP 8610 printer, I used Epson products for years, the cartridges always ran out prematurely and all cartridges had to be changed at once. The HP is a workhorse that lets to go to the very last drop of ink and individual inks can be changed as they ran out.

The price is comparable to the "big-box" office supply stores (there's only one brand here--no Staples). S & H is free. I don't have to burn $4.00/gal gas to travel to the stores with the hope they have the cartridge I have. The pre-paid return envelope for empty cartridges is a plus!

The total for the cartridges cost almost what I paid for the printer. When I went back to buy the color pack, I saw an Epson printer with the refillable cartridges and bought it instead. You overpriced your cartridges to the point that you are lost a long time customer.

how do I change the ink cartridge

I don't know what happened to the original ink cartridge but this is what it says on the printer, HP Product No. CN577A, model no. N911n, Black 950 CMY 951.

My HP Officejet Pro 8610 states "Missing or Failed Printhead". Can I purchase a new Printhead for this printer? If so, where can I purchase it? I wasn't able to locate one on the HP website.

Thank you for your question regarding the Officejet Pro 8610. HP does not sell the CR322A and it is no longer manufactured by HP. You may be able to find it from other vendors, but they may not be the official part. The current replacement model for the unit is the OfficeJet Pro 9125e.

Is HO 950XL CNO45A the same as CNO45AN
