Great product
I like the combo ink cartridges, and the ease of using the site with a discount and free regular shipping was very good. I don't remember seeing the double black inkjet cartridges on the site now, and I get those locally when on a sale or with a coupon. Obviously, the black is used more often than the color. I have also purchased another photo cartridge recently. The real HP cartridges last and store well.

HP ink cartridges are a good buy.

What I have always expected
The ease of ordering and to some degree the price including shipping a definite attraction vs. having to go out shopping for items. The price still leaves me tempted by offers of re-filled or
"remanufactured" products. I have yet to truly measure performance difference based on number of copies, shelf life or durability of cartridges in use. Overall it would seem that even with lower performance, the cheaper item does pay off. I would think that equipment manufacturers would prompt more buying of their products through lower priced consumables for them.

Timely delivery
After doing Costco refills for quite some time, my printer kept telling me to check cartridge. I finally just bought an actual new HP ink cartridge. Problem solved! Price was ok, I think all ink cartridges are way over priced!

I NEEDED THIS CARTRIDGE FOR QUITE A WHIILE. I BOUGHT REMANUFACTURED CARTRIDGES N THE PAST, BU I DIDN'T RECEIVE VERY GOOD PRODUCTS. INK DID NOT LAST VERY LONG. SINCE I GOT MY CARTRIDGES FROM HP, I HAVE NO PROBLEMS. THE COLOR FROM THE COLOR CARTRIDGE IS GREAT. BOLD AND VIVID. I NO LONGER HAVE HALF PRINTED PAGES.

I have a HP printer model 2610xi. Will the #98 black print cartridge work with this printer? I noticed the #96 black print cartridge that it uses is no longer sold and wanted to know if this is a good replacement cartridge.
The HP PhotoSmart 2610 printer is designed to work with original HP 94, HP 95, HP 96, and HP 97 ink cartridges. The HP 98 will not be compatible.

Your site says that the 98 cartridge replaces the 96, but my printer, an HP Photosmart 8150, is not on the list of compatible printers. Will this cartridge fit and work in my printer?

It says that 98 replaces 96 but I don’t see my printer listed my printer is an OfficeJet7200. Will it work?
Hello, Mindy thanks for your question, and apologies for the confusion! The OfficeJet 7200 is not pulling up in the HP US product database. I was able to find an OfficeJet 7210. That uses the HP 94 in place of the discontinued HP 96. That model does not show the 98 as being compatible. Hopefully, that is the model you have. If not please resubmit the question with the model number that is on the printer itself. Thanks for being an HP customer!
