Rated 1 out of 5 by Camp13 from Returned 3 weeks later Computer worked great. It was not even two weeks old. I got an update. I was still figuring it out and working so I left it be. One day around week 3 it forced updated itself and when it went to restart after updating I got the Black Death page. Nothing would load or go past the ChromeOs logo. Technical support recommended to be returned to be fixed. After only three weeks of owning I opted for a full return and bought a different brand Chromebook. After some research apparently Chromebook HP is notorious for this issue. HP even acknowledges it because it's a choice out of 8 technical support issues. Black screen after reboot. Also trying to get customer service and technical support through AI systems was a nightmare. No more HP for us.

When you select the Customize and Buy button on this webpage, you can choose a backlit keyboard option from the Full-size, backlit, soft grey keyboard under the keyboard section.
