I've had a lot of small office printers and this one is by far the best ever. Simple set up, reliable wifi, intuitive controls. Printing is beautiful and very very fast. Cannot recommend this enough. Also, super happy with the refurb. Perfect condition.

The maximum paper weight for this printer is 176 g/m² postcards, 200 g/m² HP Color laser glossy photo papers. Will using the printer with paper of these heavy weights cause more wear-and-tear to the paper pickup mechanism than thinner paper? Thank you.

I am moving my office out of state for a few months. In order to ship my HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 4301fdw Wireless Printer do I need to do something special after I shut it off? Does something need to be “parked”.
To move an HP laser printer, you can follow these steps:
1. Prepare the printer
Remove media: Take out any paper from the input and output trays
Secure toner system: Make sure the toner is removed from the printer.
Turn off the printer: Shut down the printer from the READY state and turn off the power switch
Unplug the printer: Disconnect all cables and power cords
Gather components: Put extra cables and trays in a bag and label it
Tape trays closed: Use masking tape to keep trays from opening and breaking
2. Pack the printer
Place the printer in a well-padded box
Secure the printer with the original foam or other packing material
Tape the box closed
3. Transport the printer
Keep the printer upright and level
Do not tilt or turn the printer upside down
Use at least two people to lift and move the printer
4. Use the printer again
Unpack the printer and place it on a level surface
Open the front door and printhead access door
Remove any cardboard from inside the printer
Close the carriage latch and front door
Plug in the power cord and turn on the printer.
