Amazing machine
I love this machine. The simplicity of the setup, the walk through on the features and the ease of connecting the printer to not only my home network but also my cell phone was the easiest I've ever used. I love the hp paper and ink subscription. I think that will save me time and money! How many times have you run low on ink without expecting it to drive to the store and find out they don't have your ink? It's happened to me many times. The paper they have is also top notch. The printer fits well on my desk and the controls are very user friendly. The app is incredibly easy to use. Definitely recommend 10/10!

Overall good printer
I would say this printer is a little more difficult to figure out than others I’ve used. So far I’ve used it to print standard documents and invitations. I’ve used it to print wedding and party invitations and it did a good job. It’s easy to switch paper size back and forth with different paper sizes. It can print on different cardstock thickness. The print is not as sharp as a professional printer but good for what I needed it for. The buttons on the dashboard are not very easy to figure out. I use the app for all my functions as it is easier. Sometimes it stops a photo print halfway, haven’t been able to figure out why. Overall it’s a good printer that I’ll continue to use.

Perfect Print = every time
I purchased the HP DeskJet 4252e to be able to print my schoolwork and my kids activity sheets. It gets the job done! I love that I’m able to print from my phone and I am utilizing the feature that sends me free ink for three months! I am very thankful for this Printer Because my old one was not nearly as reliable. Perfect print… every time!

Mediocrity At It's Finest
Set up and wireless connection were simple and smooth. This printer fulfills most everything thing that the manufacturer claims. However, the manufacturer steers clear of the "ink consumption" topic and here is why: it sucks. I mean, literally it sucks the ink cartridges dry as if it were drinking through a straw. I printed 10 full pages photos on the NEW cartridges that came with the printer, the printer then enabled a "print block" due to low ink. My old HP 3050 was even more ink efficient than this. I did not recommend unless you plan to only print a couple of documents and or photos each month. I am not overly impressed with the picture quality, either.

Fairly good for normal usage
This HP 4255e printer is overall a good printer for average use for per se a student or general office printing. I enjoy have compact it is and easy to install everything from the ink to the software on my computer. It is not the fastest printer but it prints in a decent amount of time. You can only print 25 pages at a time at most but generally for students and/or regular use I don’t think I’d exceed that. I love that it has the option to scan by a light scanner and by scanning through a feeder. The biggest benefit is being able to print directly from your phone anywhere you are. No need to set a reminder or forget to print something simply because you’re not home. This printer does come with three months of free ink and the same program also monitors your ink levels for you so you never have to worry about running out of ink. To note, I would not recommend this for businesses or anyone who prints a lot. This particular model is definitely for those use a printer on occasion not for 100’s of prints a day.
The only con I have is that there is currently a software issue on printing PDF files. This is a disadvantage because most documents are PDF. Even documents directly soured from HP site are PDF and can’t be printed with my printer. It is a known issue and has yet to be given an ETA on when it’ll be resolved. It’s an extra step to correctly convert the document and make sure it prints correctly.

Great printer for college students!
As a college student, this HP printer has been a lifesaver! Setting it up with the HP Smart app was super easy to print from my phone. Its compact and stylish design fits perfectly in my dorm room. I love the sharp and vibrant print quality, and it runs quietly, so it doesn’t disturb my studying. I also appreciate the scanning capability feature! I can easily digitize notes and documents, which is super helpful for keeping my work organized. The small paper tray is manageable for my needs. Overall, it’s perfect for my student life!

Perfect for a home office.
This is the printer I did not know I needed. I have a home office so I had a small printer and upgraded to this one. It works more similar to the large printer in office. I can now add the pages I want to scan for faxing or printing purposes and it is so easy. Previously I had to scan each page but with this one I can scan the 4 to 5 pages I need. The ink is not too expensive and it doesn't run out fast. I have printed out colorful picture and they come out vibrant which will be perfect for the kids projects when school begins. The set up was extremely easy and offers hp+ an option for people who use the printer often and want to take the guessing out of ordering ink. I am happy with the ease of everything from start up to actual production.

Laser Fast! turbo machine Compact multi purpose
This was perfect for my needs especially for my NYC apartment, incredibly compact can copy and scan documents quickly and beautiful color. Love that this doesn’t take much space at all. Love that I can scan and copy and print all at once without having to run out and do small jobs so quickly and confidently in my home! Cuts my work in half super fool proof and good to have in your home without being the size of a TV stand!

This printer has so many great things about it! I love that you load the paper vertically in the back. The printing quality is great whether in color or black. Easy to set up and install cartridges. Also printer is not too loud. Great upgrade to our old printer for sure! Highly recommend!!!!

Fantastic printer
I have used several different printers in the past and decided to try this one. It was fairly easy to get connected to the wifi and get started. I started printing within about 15 minutes. The colors are good and the speed it pretty swift. I would recommend this this printer.

Easy to use
I really like how easy it is to print photos with this printer. Just 2 clicks and it's working. The quality is better than when we ordered prints, and we can print photos when ever we want. A friend of ours needed photos printed for her sons graduation. She was impressed at how quick we could get them done for her. She also said the quality of the prints was every bit as good as the prints she ordered.
My wife uses the printer for printing documents, recipes and recites. She also likes how easy and quick it is.

Easy set up and reliable printing
This printer was an upgrade from my previous one (also HP). Setting it up was easy and seamlessly. I was able to connect it to my WiFi on the first try. I was able to print from my phone and laptop without any trouble. I love that it has a separate paper feeder for the scanner for multiple pages. The color are vibrant and printing speed is fairly fast. It is not heavy or bulky and doesn't make any noise while printing. I think it is a good option to manage at home printing. I am happy with the product, and having the instant ink subscription make printing so much easier.

Pretty Good Printer/Copier
I bought the HP DeskJet 4252e, and I couldn't get it to work right away because of my wifi. I was confused for a bit, so I went to the trouble shooting guide sent with the printer, and once I took the time to go through the reset process, it finally connected.
I then went the the process of putting in the ink cartridges, which seem pretty small so I'm not sure how much ink is in these or how long one will last as well as the costs to refill. I then ran the test of both the printer and copier and they worked just fine.
It will be interesting to see how many pieces of paper I can print stuff, till I have to replace the ink cartridges.

The perfect all-in-one
I was looking for a printer that would work for my daily needs since I work remote and occasionally need to print documents. This printer was just what I needed. Simple to setup and works with the HP smart app! Love that I’m able to print wirelessly from any of my devices, including mobile.
When I was selecting a printer I was looking for a printer with the smallest footprint that would also have the capability to copy multiple pages in one job. Most printers this size come with the standard flatbed copier, but not a document feeder like this one.
One of the best features of this printer is HP’s Instant Ink subscription which replenishes your ink based on the print plan you select, essentially, set it and forget it which really beats the hassle having to remember. HP included 3 mo of instant ink as a trial too!

I chose the HP DeskJet 4255e to replace my current HP Envy Printer. I like using the HP Smart Print App and the HP Instant Ink program. The app made setting up the printer, connecting to my Wi-Fi network simple. I was also able to activate the 3 months free trial of HP Instant Ink, remove my old printer and add the new printer to my existing account. HP Smart Print allows me to wirelessly print, scan, copy and fax on the go. The printer is a bit noisy, but it prints fast and the print quality is good. It's a great All in One printer for home users. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

The HP DeskJet 4252e was easy & quick to set up. The HP smart app was well... smart. It took no time to connect to my network and easily print from my phone or computer. The print quality and speed of the printer is impressive and the scan function works well also.. It came with 3 months of free ink and I signed up for the HP Instant Ink Subscription and I'm interested in seeing if this is a cost effective method for operating a small office.. Overall this is another great HP printer, lightweight, small footprint, packed with tons of features with a smart app, quite easy to operate from any room in the house for a great price.

Super nice prints
This printer was really good at printing color pictures, I printed some on regular palate and photo paper and both came out really nice. The process of setting it up was super easy my 15 yr old did it. It’s not complicated at all and the printing is phenomenal. I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family.

Best HP Compact Printer
I am very impressed of the HP 4255e desk printer. It was very easy to install and runs beautifully. Connecting to the WIFI was very easy with the help of the HP app. It’s a 3 in 1 printer. It can copy, scan and print with little effort. A novice of technology will love it because the set up is so easy. I have had several printers and I find this one to be the best. It is also very compact that fits anywhere. A very useful feature is the subscription of auto delivery with HP for ink. It will send you more ink when you are running out. This printer is so versatile and so easy to operate. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great Easy to Use at Home Printer
We purchased the HP DeskJet 4255e Printer for our home. I typically print coupons, medical documents and things for my children's school projects. As well as scanning in or faxing documents occasionally. And this printer was a perfect fit. Print speed is better then I expected for a smaller at home printer. The print on the pages come out crisp and clear. And best of all, the printer came with ink cartridges. There were also easy instructions for setting up the printer to be used with our cell phones- which was a very important feature for us when looking for printers. And most importantly, the printer works wirelessly. We're very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this printer.

HP - my new fave printer
I havent had a personal printer at home in quite some time and HP is setting the standard. My first impession was modern and stylish looking machine. The printer itself isnt too bulky and is very light weight. The setup is fast and easy, even for the least tech savvy person. The printing speed is surprisingly fast and the quality is excellent. Colored prints are vivid and couldnt be better. My favorite feature is the wireless printing from your mobile device. The full size scanner is a great feature as well. I definitely recommend this printer for anyone looking for a personal or small business printer! Cant go wrong.

When scanning multiple pages using ADF, can output be all in one file (e.g. - a pdf document for a multi-page letter) and/or as separate files (e.g. scanning several photographs to save each as an individual jpg file)?
