Fast and Foolproof Duplex Printing
If you have a home office setup and frequently print or scan documents you'll appreciate the speed of the HP DeskJet printer and the duplex scanner.
The set-up through the app is instant and the automated refills are really convenient. Being able to print documents from my phone is a big help and I had a refill delivered to my door without having to press a single button.
The size is relatively compact and fits well into an office or living room setup.

Teachers dream
I was looking for a smaller printer that I could use at home but still produces an effective job. This printer didn't dissapoint. The ink cartridges were easy to click in and I loved that it has the capabilities of printing black or color jobs. At first I thought oh no I have to sync this printer to the internet and my phone but this process was easy with the easy to read instructions and prompts on your phone. In fact an elementary age child could hook up the printer. I also loved it has scanning abilities. My favorite was it comes with 3 months of ink with purchase. It does not take up much space and this will be perfect to print my back to school papers. You even get to print a test sheet which is pictured in the below pictures to make sure it works correctly and aligned correctly.

Great hp deskjet printer
So happy with my new hp deskjet it came well package. Everything needed come with it. Easy to set up the wireless connected like a breeze. Print was fast scanning no problem. The black and color was easy to snap on had instructions with photo. The paper it printed was bright colors. The app for smart hp is useful. Great printer for my family photos document copy. I reccomend.

Printing Perfection
I've been a loyal user of HP printers for decades and I can honestly say that the newest addition to my home office. the HP Deskjet 4255e, did not disappoint. The set-up was easy and intuitive, I had no issue connecting it to my home Wi-Fi or getting it going. My computer quickly picked up the new printer and was able to print without any fuss. I've found that over the last month there's been no noticeable depreciation of the ink despite regular color/bw use and the print quality is exceptional. Overall, I highly recommend this model of HP printer and have nothing but positive feedback regarding the performance.

HP Deskjet works great
I received the HP Deskjet 4255e and unpacked it immediately. I followed the easy setup directions & was printing beautiful pages both in color & black & white within 10 minutes. The print is very crisp and clean and will make running our small family business very easy. I love the quality of the pages and the professional look. Sleek and Quick
I have owned HP printers in the past and it has lasted me a long time so I am not new to the hp brand. I am loving the HP DeskJet 4255e. It is so clean looking and fits nicely into a small space. The setup was seamless and easy via wifi and also creating my account with HP. The printer is great for home use. I would not recommend for business use. However, this is a budget printer that has all the essentials you would need. It prints quick whether in black or color. It has e-printing and makes printing anywhere around the house very easy. Although I am giving this printer 5 stars, I didn't like the tiny screen.

Easy set up and Go!
I needed a newer printer to do my taxes and other forms for my small business but did not want something too big for my space so I chose this one. It was a very easy set up with wifi and I was able to start printing right away.
I used the copy feature to see if the colors would match and they matched very well. I then printed using the black and white prints for documents and it was fast and printing well from across the house. I then tried to use the color print for a photo and it took me a little while to figure out how to do so. I chose not to use the automatic ink ordering system and I am not sure if that created an issue withe the downloaded software. I use a MacBook Pro laptop with the newest OS system. At first all I could get was a black and white print but then I found if I went into the EAsy Start software instead of the Smart software and chose print photo I had the option of printing in color. I am not going to use this for color photos as I see lines in the print. They are not too noticable until one gets close but they are there. I will use it for color documents if I can find that feature without using the EAsy Start software. I will update as I go along as to how one can print in color and avoid using the photo menu.

Best printer to have
I received the deskjet 4255e from HP. It arrived safely in great packaging. This was so easy to set up straight from the box and I was using it within minutes. The app for the phone and software download for ky laptop didn't take but a few minutes to set up for use. The printer prints great with vibrant colors as well as black and white. The printing wasn't slow either. The scan and copy feature was great as well. I highly recommend this printer whether for a small business or just for home use.

Great Desk Printer for Everyday
This HP DeskJet printer is definitely something to contend with. I really was excited to receive it and when I did, I was not disappointed. This printer is not only seamless when it comes to how it prints your documents, but it also does so very quietly. I mainly use my printer for every day use including printing shipping labels, copies of work documents, and things for around the home. I had a previous HP printer before this, but it never really worked as well as I wished. However, this HP DeskJet printer really is working out great and I’m so happy with the product so far. Can’t recommend it enough for anyone needing a printer for every day use around the home or office.

Great Home Printer
I have the DeskJet 4252e Printer. It was by far the easiest to set up, it connected to WiFi and Bluetooth easily. I was printing within minutes of unboxing. I tried out photo paper, copy paper, and shirt transfer paper. All printed with ease, the colors were vibrant, and the scanner is a great bonus. I was hesitant about how printing from my phone would be, but it could not have been easier. HP really made sure this was a good quality, user friendly printer.

Hype or Not HP Printer
Here's my honest review for the HP DeskJet 4252e Printer. 1st the packaging is amazing and so official because it's package well so printer is not damage and it's shrink wrap! All the previous printed I've brought didn't have shrink wrap. So that make me go ouuuuu. 2nd set up is easy because you can just connect through your phone and go to website and then type in your wifi from phone instead of previous printer where you have to type it on printer. It connected very easy! Only thing I would improve is the printer set up because it required you to create an account and log in to print some which is annoying because I felt that it should just be able to connect via wifi and print like older printer. For me it's the process of creating a new account. 3. Printing via wifi is annoying at 1st but once you set the setting, it's simple and print well. No smudge and the ink color is great on regular paper. I own a small business that produces lot of stickers and paper goods so we will see how the color hold up then. 4. I hate how the tray load paper upwards because a few time it was caught and jam, not sure if it's my paper or printer because paper jam also was common on my other printer. So I will try different paper to see. I love how it can print, scan, and copy all in 1. My son and I enjoying photocopying our hands and framing it. Overall, printer use and services out but 4 out 5 for the set up.

An all in one printer that prints from any device
Given the volume of home-based printing and the need to scan documents, the HP DesktJet 4252e is a formidable option. The all-in-one printer is capable of scanning, copying, and printing. Setup is moderate, as downloading the HP Smart Software on my PC and installing the mobile app to setup Wi-Fi and enrolling in the Instant Ink program took me an additional 20-25 minutes. After that, the printer was ready to go, and I could monitor the status of the printer and ink from my phone easily. The best part of this printer is the ability to scan and copy documents when I am away from the printer with the automatic document feeder. This comes in handy when I have long documents and saves me the time from manually scanning each page separately and combining them into one document. I like that the printer has a color and black cartridge, as color printing comes in handy for art projects. The quality is superb and I am excited to have a lightweight and compact all in one printer. The LCD screen is small and you'll have to check error codes if you don't have your mobile app pulled up, so that can be inconvenient if you have any issues. There are very few buttons, but they make operating the DeskJet 4252e fairly easy. I like the three free months of instant ink, and monthly costs are affordable. It's nice to have considering there is one tri-color cartridge, so if one color goes out, HP will send a whole cartridge to replace that one with the Instant Ink program. The printing speed is acceptable for home-based printing. I wouldn't get this for volume based printing, but for regular home use it is great. If you are looking for a simple all-in-one with the ability to print from computers, tablets, and phones, along with a subscription based ink program, the HP DeskJet 4252e will not disappoint.

Good for some, not for all
First impressions out of the box: sleek, lightweight and basic. The screen is very small. My wife doesn't have the best eyesight, so the screen was hard to read. The paper tray can be tucked away when not in use. After removing all the tape, set up was about 15 minutes. Did not see the step 5 in the quick set up guide for set up and animations. But since using a printer before I knew how to install ink and paper. Not a lot of paper will fit in the loading tray, just a pinch, so not ideal for big projects. Wireless printing worked great. Printing speed was efficient. Even tried to print a photo using HP glossy photo paper. It took 1 minute & 15 sec but the picture came out nice. This printer is good for printing and copying documents; small projects only. Photo printing is good for a couple of photos, not an album. But also not sure how many photos you can get before new ink cartridges are needed. Overall this printer will not work for my family. Its not fast enough and as basic as they come. The screen size is just too small.

I love this printer! It's replacing an almost 10 year old HP that I have, and I love how fast it prints. It was simple to set up and connect to my wifi, and the free trial of HP Ink is a plus. I like that the copier bed is a nice size, and I like that I can scan or copy multiple pages at a time. I'd highly recommend this for a basic printing needs, home office, or small business needs.

Excellent printer.
This HP Deskjet 4252e, printer is great. Quick and easy set up had me printing within minutes. I love the full size scanner, even made a copy of our hands to last a lifetime. Fast printing with excellent color. Wireless printing from the kitchen to the office is great feature to have. Overall I'm very happy with printer and would recommend it to family and friends. I love the 3 months of free ink via HP website. My daughter is getting into scrapbooking and this will be a money saver!

Easy and good quality
I had been holding off getting a new printer until I could find one that was the right intersection of functionality / price / ease of set up and this delivered on all fronts. Comes packed really well and easy to get out of the box and set up on my desk. I use a MacBook Air and the connection was easy and my computer recognized it as soon as it was powered up and on my network. Printing is great - clean lines, good speed. I haven't had to replace any ink yet, but first cartridge in was easy peasy.

Just what i needed
I recieved my Printer and it is perfect. Just what i needed for my home office .
it prints fast The colors are vibrant and no smudging .
I have it hooked up the USB cord, but love the wifi option.
I did have an issue with Printing it kept wanting to save it instead of printing. I little research i found that it needs to be on Microsoft IPPClass driver to print, so once i changed this setting no further issues. Having the smart ink delivery will be a time saver and will save some money.

This product is an all around great help. Very easy to set up and install the needed software. Very thrilled 3 months of instant ink are included. This does a great job copying, printing, and scanning your documents. I replaced an older HP printer with this an I am very pleased with my choice. I love that you load the paper in a a back paper tray that is vertical instead of a horizontal tray. Great quality printing in black and color as well. The product was well packed for shipping and it was protected well for shipping. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an upgrade or a first time purchase of a printer.

Solid printer but software needs work
The HP DeskJet 4255e Wireless All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer is a great printer to have at home for regular usage. It doesn’t print out fast per se but it does print out detailed and precise. I enjoyed its ability to connect to wifi and print anywhere you are even if you’re miles away using the HP Smart app. The printer has two types of scanner by photocopy or scanning your document through. Quite convenient for home. I would say this isn’t a printer for businesses as it can only print 25 pages at a time and is a little slow at printing. Definitely a personal use printer such as for school or printing important documents time to time. The reason I deducted a whole star is that currently with the software there is an issue of print PDF files. I had to contact support to see what was going on and was made aware that it is an ongoing issue that hasn’t been resolved. Many users use PDF files so it’s an extra step to convert the document and print it out as so. Overall I like the printer and its quality. The added bonus is it does come with 3 months of free ink through HP Instant Ink and has affordable options past that. The Instant Ink keeps track of your ink levels for you so you never have to worry about running out of ink.

Simple Printer
I like the simplicity of this printer even though i think it is kind of slow! If possible i recommend a higher up level! I think a darker color for printer is better and on this model only the white one is available! Another thing that i don’t like is that the ink will not last as long as i expect! The HP application for me is kind of confuse, it took a bit of time to install and i don’t use it! I just press print right after whatever i have to print! The quality of the print is ok! As a simple printer we can only expect so much! If you need to print many pages and fast better look for another way to print, as this printer is not fast and quality specially color wise is not that good. But if you just need a simple printer for home use this will be ok!

Says All in One, but not really
Hp DeskJet printer, 4252e is an all in one or multifunctional printer that is made with at least 60% recycled plastic and promised an easy set up. Did it deliver? I would say yes.
Out of the box, the printer was breeze to set up. I love how it's only plug and play. Literally, that's all you have to do to set it up, minus the WiFi part and putting in the ink. Speaking of ink, putting in the ink was easy too. Unlike other printers where you have to open the hood so to say to reach the ink cartridges, with this one you don't have to do that. The ink cartridges are in the front! Where the paper tray is. After opening the paper tray there's another door or tray you have to open. I like how accessible the ink cartridges are. No more awkward twisting my body to reach it. Another thing that I liked about this printer was the weight. I can tell that it's made out of recycled plastic due to how light it is. Another thing that I liked about this printer was how fast it printed. I didnt even wait 2-3 minutes for it to print out. Now, there are a couple of things that I found that I did not like while testing this printer out. One, is that it says it's an all in one (website) and on the paper multifunctional. In order for it to be an all in one it should do everything, including fax, but this printer does not do that unfortunately. Another thing I disliked about this printer is the small led screen. I wish it was brighter and digital since the symbols and words that appear on the screen can be hard to read in certain lighting. I also dislike the color of the printer, white. You can see every smudge, every stain or blemish on white.

Tiny but mighty!
Who doesn’t love an all-in-one printer?
Making my life so much easier by being able to print, copy, and scan. I enjoy how quickly it prints, and I have made no mistakes so far with this printer. I currently have a small business, so this has been a lifesaver. I signed up for a subscription to get more ink and paper every month, and it will order automatically when more is needed, which is a lifesaver for me.

Disappointing
The drivers wouldn't download. I spent 2 hours and 25 minutes with tech support, and she was unable to get a proper download. I expected more from HP. Returning this printer, I do not recommend this product.

When scanning multiple pages using ADF, can output be all in one file (e.g. - a pdf document for a multi-page letter) and/or as separate files (e.g. scanning several photographs to save each as an individual jpg file)?
