Rated 1 out of 5 by Upsett customer from Can't Say Because HP pulled fast one and did not deliver my desktop computer on date specified I don't have any experience with this monitor because it is still in the box. I ordered a new desktop and monitor and all the extras with plenty of time to be delivered and HP actually gave me a delivery date for December. Then I got a notice that the desktop would not be delivered till sometime in January. I specifically ordered this package to replace my existing HP system which has several programs such as Microsoft Live Mail and Windows 10, which become obsolete in 2025. I now will lose my ability to send and receive emails as of tomorrow because my new system with all new software did not arrive as promised in December 2024.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Philip the Bucket from Faulty power cord I could not install the monitor by my self after repeated tries. Geek Squad could not help. Called HP technical help. After numerous unsuccessful attempt at a solution. My helper suggest I replace the power cord with on from my discarted monitor. This solved the porblem and I was sent a replacment power cord. I can not rate the experience highly, but I did not want it to be negative either. Chose the most neutral cooice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed in HP also from DIDN'T WORK After speaking with customer service reps at HP TWICE and being assured this would let me use two monitors with my laptop.(I gave the model # and serial #) I spent two hours trying to get this hub to work with my computer. It didn't work. I ended up calling Tech support only to be told my laptop can't do 2 monitors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by 52 Year HP customer from HP technical support is courteous but entirely untrained and clueless on technical issues. I purchased this a part of an HP advertised package with 2 monitors to implement dual monitors on an HP Envy desktop. Following the HP instructions, it did not work. Contacting HP support was difficult, when I made contact with support, they were not knowledgeable about the product. What they had me try didn't work and they concluded the Hub was faulty. I returned the HUB and they sent a replacement. This had the same problem. The issue was escalated to another support technician and after a few more days, I was called. We were on the phone for 1 1/4 hours, trying all his suggestions did not resolve the problem. He was not at all knowledgeable about the technologies underlying the HUB, desktop or dual monitor set up. His conclusion was that this HUB would not work to support dual monitors and I needed to purchase additional HP products to connect the dual monitors. I am returning the HUB and they are only crediting me with a partial refund.

Rated 4 out of 5 by John A2024 from Great deal for a pair of HP monitors! Easy to setup! The clarity of the text isn’t as clear as I’ve come to know from HP, so I’ll need more time to work on it and then evaluate it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Parkera from OK monitor - piece of crap stand The monitor itself is OK, but the stand it comes with is a VERY short and flimsey piece of crap. A slight bump of the desk, and the whole monitor shakes and vibrates for about 1 second. Plan on buying your own stand or mount.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from This device never really worked out for me. This device was the worst purchase ever. It kept dropping my network, and connected devices, to the point that I would have to unplug my monitor and plug it back in to recognize it again, and the wired network speeds were way slower that wifi on the same computer. I eventually replace this unit with a non-HP brand similar multi-port device.

I am direct wired in with my internet, so i thought this adapter would be a great way to use the hp laptop i just bought woth my home internet - but now im always dropping off zoom calls, "network quality low", and having the prompts to restart my adapter. Pretty bummed, did i just receive a fauly one?? Because seems kinda expensice for what i got. If this is not a common issue id like to get a replacement....

Rated 5 out of 5 by amerlos from Great quality. Number of ports good enough for my home office. Great product. Compact but with the ports I need to enable my home office. There are other products with more ports online but seems also with very short life, or even dangerous for the product connected, according to user reviews. I prefer to stay with this to make sure it is compatible 100% with my HP laptop. Product quality looks great. Hope this is the case in the coming years. If not, I will update.

I bought this and it works great on my HP work laptop HOWEVER I can not get it to recognize both monitors on my 2020 MacBook Pro. It clones the display on both monitors and inside System Pref > Display it only lists one of the monitors. Any Suggestions?

Asked by: SteveGerachi
The 2020 13 inch MacBook Pro with the M1 processor only supports 1 external monitor via USB-C / Thunderbolt.  Newer models with the M1 Pro or Max will support more.  I have the same behavior with this laptop using other USB-C docks/hubs, and it is a limitation of the 2020 M1 13" MacBook.

I did order HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub, and I have two HP all-in-one desktop computers. Does HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub work to connect two computer in one screen? I do not how to say specific but I want to use just one Mouse and one keyboard

Asked by: DaraTourt
Sounds like you need a KVM switch. You can find them online with a variety of features, and support for multiple computers (desktop and laptop). A basic and reliable unit can be found for ~$50.
