Can't Say Because HP pulled fast one and did not deliver my desktop computer on date specified
I don't have any experience with this monitor because it is still in the box. I ordered a new desktop and monitor and all the extras with plenty of time to be delivered and HP actually gave me a delivery date for December. Then I got a notice that the desktop would not be delivered till sometime in January. I specifically ordered this package to replace my existing HP system which has several programs such as Microsoft Live Mail and Windows 10, which become obsolete in 2025. I now will lose my ability to send and receive emails as of tomorrow because my new system with all new software did not arrive as promised in December 2024.

Faulty power cord
I could not install the monitor by my self after repeated tries. Geek Squad could not help. Called HP technical help. After numerous unsuccessful attempt at a solution. My helper suggest I replace the power cord with on from my discarted monitor. This solved the porblem and I was sent a replacment power cord. I can not rate the experience highly, but I did not want it to be negative either. Chose the most neutral cooice.

DIDN'T WORK
After speaking with customer service reps at HP TWICE and being assured this would let me use two monitors with my laptop.(I gave the model # and serial #) I spent two hours trying to get this hub to work with my computer. It didn't work. I ended up calling Tech support only to be told my laptop can't do 2 monitors.

Extra ports without any hassles
Adding a few more ports fore my HP PC. Plug and play, recognized immediately and works as required. Wish the attachment cord was a bit longer so I could hide this device more easily. Satisfied with my purchase

HP technical support is courteous but entirely untrained and clueless on technical issues.
I purchased this a part of an HP advertised package with 2 monitors to implement dual monitors on an HP Envy desktop. Following the HP instructions, it did not work. Contacting HP support was difficult, when I made contact with support, they were not knowledgeable about the product. What they had me try didn't work and they concluded the Hub was faulty. I returned the HUB and they sent a replacement. This had the same problem. The issue was escalated to another support technician and after a few more days, I was called. We were on the phone for 1 1/4 hours, trying all his suggestions did not resolve the problem. He was not at all knowledgeable about the technologies underlying the HUB, desktop or dual monitor set up. His conclusion was that this HUB would not work to support dual monitors and I needed to purchase additional HP products to connect the dual monitors. I am returning the HUB and they are only crediting me with a partial refund.

Not complete system
Was sold as a two-monitor and hub set. However it did not come complete. Monitors equipped with hdmi cables but hub only takes one hdmi. Had to purchase an additional display port cable to make it work.

Hi, the answer to this question: "Can I have a hdmi monitor and a usb monitor connected to this", wasn't absolutely clear to me. Can I connect through the adaptor a USB-C Monitor and a HDMI monitor at the same time? Does the USB-C also transmit video?
This USB-C Hub features a DisplayPort and an HDMI port out. Not a USB-C video out. However, an additional DisplayPort to USB-C cable can be used to make the DisplayPort compatible with a USB-C monitor.

Hub not working. I checked my driver and it is current. Monitor flickers on and off. I restarted my computer and it worked for about 5 minutes.

Will this hub allow me to connect 2 monitors and use the extend feature for the HP EliteBook 840 G3? There is NOT the lightning bolt symbol next to the USB-C port. I'm fine if that port doesn't charge, but I do think I'll need it to transfer video.
Hello and thank you for your question! This HP Universal USB-C Multiport Hub requires that the USB-C port on your HP EliteBook 840 G3 be DisplayPort compatible. Without having the model number or access to the build information it is impossible for this forum to be certain that the USB-C on your EliteBook will be compatible with DisplayPort. Unfortunately, not all USB-C ports are created equal. However, please contact HP Support and they should be able to tell you the port information on your PC. Also, if the port has a D next to it then it will be DisplayPort compatible and you will be good to go but probably without the charging.

Will this work work with a HP Omen 17T-CK100 laptop? this Hub will need to run two monitors with one with HDMI and the other with Display Port. And Ethernet will be used too. This laptop will be powered by it own supplied power supply.

I cannot get both external monitors to work through the hub. I have them set up with an older HP docking station and they worked fine. Monitor 1: connected via display port to display port on docking station; Monitor 2: (not working) display port to HDMI.

Thank you for your question! Hubs and Docking stations are two different items with different functions. This is just a hub not a docking station. Hubs will perform some of the same functions as the docking stations, but it doesn't have it's own independent power supply for powering the laptop among other differences.

Hello Tyler and thank you for your question! Unfortunately, the HP 15-dw1024wm does not meet the minimum requirements for HP Hubs and Docks. The Host PC must have at minimum a USB-C port that has DisplayPort and PowerDelivery. The 15-dw1024wm does not have that USB-C port.
