Can see clearly!
Our old monitor was in a death spiral and were very happy with this model. It's larger and so much clearer than the old one. Staff fight over who gets to use this monitor, so we will be replacing the other 2 monitors on our points of sale as well.

Otherwise, a good monitor
Colors, features, and brightness are great! But it was frustrating to find that the cord provided did not connect to my computer. Who has a USB-C connection on their computer? I sure didn't. So had to scour several stores before I eventually found the HDMi cord at Best Buy! Otherwise, a good monitor

I was only looking for a 2nd monitor, but was happy to see you can daisy chain a monitor off of this one and it has a bunch of usb ports. I switched out my usb-c dock since this monitor does double duty.

Great work-from-home video conferencing monitor
A great yet affordable solution, if you are looking for a quality work-from-home monitor that covers both your camera and mic needs. I spend a lot of time on Zoom/Teams calls and this monitor works really well. My favorite part is the USB-C connection that powers your laptop and basically made my docking station redundant. Lastly, I enjoy being able to quickly swap my work laptop with my personal one via USB-C.

Excellent dual monitor setup for a home office!
Very happy with the purchase of these HP E24 G4 FHD monitors. The monitors fit perfectly on my desk and have been easy on my eyes, even at this size. Monitors are being used for work; Outlook, large excel files, Word, etc. I can't put into words how happy I am to have so many excel cells on one screen! Highly recommend for an office desk setup.

Love-hate relationship with my monitor
The HP E24mv G4 FHD Conferencing Monitor is fine except the camera which I am supposed to be able to push on so that it will spring open seems to be missing the springs. I have to pull it up every time. I am waiting for it to come out because of the tugging I have to do.
On the positive side, the color is great although I am still unsure about the software that allows one to adjust the color of the picture on the camera. I will get it down eventually. For the moment, I am quite pink with magenta shadows. I like the swivel base and the fact that I can have the screen vertical or horizontal. Now, if I could only figure out how to attach a second screen. I have tried two different screens with no luck. I am sure it is operator error, but the instructions are online, and I dislike that very much. I want a printed manual and yes, I did print one. For the price one pays, a manual should be included. All in all, I would give this a C. I have had easier monitors with which to work. The materials are very light-weight and that is not a good thing. Cheap plastic. The same goes for the case of my new HP Envy computer. Cheap materials, no manual, door that covers the DVR doesn't stay closed...it goes on and on. This a love-hate review. I would recommend this to a friend with several caveats and, if they did buy it, I will hope we remain friends.

Bewildered by installation
I'm completely bewildered by the installation of the two monitors. The monitor with the camera seems to work fine, though I have yet to figure out how to use the camera and the speakers. The second monitor is not working at all, and I don't know how to connect them - even with help from my local IT department. HP may make good products - I wouldn't really know at this point - but they seem to have a very poor understanding of how customers work.

is the 5UU40AT HP S101 Sound Bar compatible with this monitor?

At my home desk, I have maximum height clearance of 18". The base for this monitor seems to be adjustable. Can this monitor be adjusted so total height is no more than 18"?
Three things. 1st, I'm not sure where Grant is getting his info, but if you click on the blue hyper-link on this page, it will bring you to the spec sheet for this specific monitor which says... "Work comfortably with adjustable tilt, height, and swivel settings. Use pivot rotation to conveniently customize
portrait or landscape views on multiple monitors"
2nd, I use this specific monitor at work and adjust the height on it based on whether or not I'm using a bench height or normal height office chair.
3rd, this monitor is excellent and the matte screen makes looking at it for hours at a time very easy on the eyes.

How can I use this monitor with HDMI cable with USB only? I have a new laptop that does not have HDMI high speed cable.

It is assumed since the laptop is a new laptop and doesn't have HDMI that the laptop in question has USB-C or Thunderbolt for display. If this is the case, then a USB-C to DisplayPort cable would be recommended for use. Hello, please assure me that the brightness is sufficient for this screen (HP E24mv G4). it only has 250 nits, and for that it seems to me that it is not bright enough. cheers
That would greatly depend on what functions are being performed with the display. 250 nits are typically more than enough for office functions, web browsing, and average working conditions.
