Defective equipment
The first monitor I received was defective. It took SEVERAL HOURS online and on the phone for hp to finally acknowledge I had a bad monitor.

Overall great. Mic is lacking.
I really like the display. It's such a huge improvement over my prior laptop + Dell monitor combo. While it's about 20% more screen space, it's functionally much more because the monitor has a very high resolution. The integrated camera works well and I like being able to physically turn the camera and mic off. All of the integrated ports have replaced the USB-C docking setup I used previously, which really frees up my physical desk space. My only real complaint is the microphone. Multiple colleagues said they could barely hear me in meetings. I've ended up using a separate USB mic.

Does the HP E27k G5 have the capability for daisy chaining, the way to connect multiple monitors to a single computer using a single video cable? I bought 2 of them and I would like to do this - but my computer also has 2 usb-c thunderbolt interfaces
No, the HP E27k G5 4K USB-C Monitor is not compatible with daisy chaining due to the lack of a DisplayPort Out. The HP Z series monitors are compatible however with the HP Z27k G3 available here:

Up to how many monitors can I daisy chain?
Thank you for your question! Generally, you can daisy chain from 3 to 6 displays via USB-C. The amount that can be daisy-chained depends greatly on your GPU. The lower RAM GPUs of course compatible with the lesser amount while the higher RAM GPUs with a higher amount of displays.

If the All-in-One has a HDMI out or DisplayPort out, then it will work with this monitor, and they would be the same size screen display.

I think the datasheet has incorrect information? It states "Panel Active Area 20.75 x 11.67 in 52.7 x 29.65 cm" but that is what is also listed in the datasheet for a different monitor, the E24u G4.

I see someone asked about daisy chaining, and was told no, yet the slide show shows yes via thunderbolt, yet thunderbolt is not listed. So can it support daisy chaining?

It features 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C 5Gbps signaling rate (up to 65W USB Power Delivery, Alt Mode DisplayPort 1.4) and 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C 5Gbps signaling rate (Up to 15W USB Power Delivery). That means it does not have the capability to do daisy chaining.

Is the HP E27 G4 FHD Monitor have gaming settings and can it be use for gaming

With the 5MS response time and the max resolution of 1920x1080, this may not be the best option for gaming. However, this monitor can be daisy-chained together with other monitors for up to a Quad-monitor setup.

I bought this monitor and connected it to a Macbook Air M2. The screen is blurry (2048 x 1152 by default) and I can't find any Mac drivers. How can I solve this problem?
The supported display resolutions for this HP E27q G5 QHD Monitor are as follows: 640 x 480; 720 x 400; 800 x 600; 1024 x 768; 1280 x 720; 1280 x 800; 1280 x 1024; 1440 x 900; 1600 x 900; 1600 x 1200; 1680 x 1050; 1920 x 1080; 1920 x 1200; 2560 x 1440.
The resolution you mention is not on the supported list. It is recommended to change the resolution to a support resolution on the above list. That should fix the blurring issue.

Will the camera adjust and work correctly if the monitor is rotated in Portrait Mode? The Camera is on top when in landscape. It will be on the side when it is rotated to Portrait. Will the camera not only still work in portrait mode but orientate?
