    Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from It just works. Buy it. The virtual display option on this monitor is a game changer. Using it, the monitor behaves like two monitors next to each other. I can maximize windows, share my screens during video conferences, etc. without using the full physical size of the monitor. I love that. Switching between my PC connected over DisplayPort and my laptop connected via USB-C isn't the smoothest, but it works. I'd recommend this monitor to anyone with the desk space to support it.

It took me over four hours and multiple calls and chats to even get to this point. HP has gone significantly downhill in quality and customer service.

    I'm interested in this monitor, but my setup doesn't allow for something this large to sit on the desk. Is there a recommended wall-mount to use with this monitor, or what is the mount design to buy one somewhere else?

    Does this monitor support dual inputs so it can act as two monitors?

    Yes, this HP E45c G5 DQHD Curved Monitor can connect 2 different computers and simultaneously view and work between them with HP Device Bridge 2.0. HP Device Bridge 2.0 works with two computers and is compatible with Windows 10 and higher and MacOS 10.14 and higher platforms. The HP E45c G5 DQHD Curved Monitor also has KVM-switch compatibility as well. For KVM-switch compatibility, if connected PCs do not have USB-C® port, the user will need a USB-C® to A cable. The cable is sold separately.

    When using the Virtual Dual Display should I expect to get max resolution on each side, i.e. 1440? Currently, my monitor maxing out at 1080 when using the Virtual Dual Display.

    The HP E45c G5 DQHD Curved Monitor is capable of dual QHD (2560 x 1440) resolution in the connected displays. DisplayPort™ 1.4 or HDMI 2.1 is required to drive the panel at its native resolution. The video card of the connected PC must be capable of supporting 5120 x 1440 at 165 Hz with 8-bit color using one DisplayPort™, HDMI. The video card of the connected PC must be capable of supporting 5120 x 1440 and include one DisplayPort™ or one HDMI output to drive the monitor at the preferred mode.

    Thank you for your question! The HP E45c G5 DQHD Curved Monitor doesn't have a listed weight specification without the stand. The total weight is 32.18lb. The VESA mount requirement for this Monitor is 100mm by 100mm which carries a 30.8lb weight limit. This HP E45c G5 DQHD Curved Monitor will be compatible with this weight limit.
