Slow Processor
I am a bit disappointed with the product, because it processes much slower than I thought it would. I think the Wolf Security slows the processing. At times, the systems gets hung up for extended periods.

Power on set up works fine. Be aware that the first software patches take time to install. Also allow extra time for the BIOS update to run. The screen will blank out for 2-5 minutes with no indications of it running Be sure to NOT power off during this time.
It works especially well with my HP 32-inch 4k monitor.

Mighty Mini with Great Value
I upgraded to this from an HP gaming machine that I purchased about 8 years ago. This time around I did not need a gaming machine but I did want something that will last 8-10 years and allow me to upgrade and extend the machine as needs arise (disk and memory). I have never been a fan of laptops for all sorts of reasons so I did not want to go that route. The integrated graphics on this 12 gen Intel hardware is so good that for my purposes I will never need a dedicated graphics card. Its my understanding that it will drive up to 4 monitors. I have an ultra wide myself running at a fairly high resolution and it runs that just fine. Everything about the machine is lightning fast. It also runs silently. I cannot hear the fan unless I get very very close to it. The case that it is enclosed in is sturdy metal of some sort. My unit came with the option to use either Windows 10 or 11. Having the option was nice but I went with Win 11 and it runs that very well. The HP Wolf Security software works great on Win11 also. I have not noticed any slow down at all from running the security software. It just does it thing in the background and stays out of the way, as it should be. I love the option to connect internet either with a physical cable or with Wifi. I was also surprised to see that there is a now a feature that lets you spin up a guest hotspot from your computer. Not sure if that is a Windows thing or what but was a pleasant surprise. The compact size frees up workspace. I was able to set it up on my printer rack out of the way but I have seem some people mount these under their desk or even behind their monitor. Lots of great USB connection options. I combined this with a couple small USB hubs for my various devices so I am only using 2 ports for like 8 devices leaving other ports open for more ad-hoc needs. I plan on using this computer for home office work, and also advanced photo editing software which can be RAM intensive but my configuration starts with 32gb and its my understanding this can be upgraded to 128 if needed so should have plenty of room to grow over the years. One additional surprise I had was this this machine has very low power consumption. I was originally trying to use with a smart power strip that cuts power to dependent devices when the PC goes off but this little machine uses so little power that unless you are actively using it the power strip kept thinking that it was turned off. (ha ha) So I just had to use a normal power strip but I thought that was funny in a good way. So yeah love this little machine and I got a great deal on it. Keep it up HP!!

Good security, not so good storage.
Great---if you don't need to stare anything of any real size on it. I have never purchased a pc that had so little storage space, and for the price tag, it is actually insane. It is my fault for not registering that it has under 500 GB of storage, but that is basically nothing these days. For how much money I spent on this, I am very disappointed. So, be warned.

Slow to boot
This unit is very slow to boot. My old computer from 6 years ago is faster to boot up. Sometimes it doesn’t boot up and just sits there with the windows flag or Wolf security logo. It might show the flag for an hour or so before I give up. I then have to intervene, turn off power and reboot. In the restart or reboot process it is sometimes hard to tell if it is even doing anything.

Great for my small business!
Don't be deceived by the size of this PC. It keeps my home office incredibly tidy and is the most powerful computer I've ever owned. My desk is not crowded by it and it easily fits underneath my monitor. It's quite small, which is excellent for my tiny office. It serves my small business needs. The connection was simple and quick. The startup process is quite rapid. It launches any installed program almost immediately. I haven't seen any lagging or slowdown in any of my work in the few weeks I've used it. I’m incredibly impressed with the size and operation of this computer. It’s a great addition to my small business. I highly recommend this computer.

Very compact
I love HP products and was happy to get this mini desktop PC. It takes up very little space and is a huge improvement to the large towers I am normal familiar with. It was very easy to set up and the security that comes with it is very strong and relieving. It comes with everything you would need for setup except a monitor. The storage capacity is enough where it doesn’t slow down the system when using different programs. It’s a great edition to my home network.

Small but mighty
I have used this computer at home for a few weeks for all my family’s needs and it has held up to every aspect I would expect in a regular computer but it’s a mini. I was skeptical but this small but mighty machine has been such a cool experience. From minimal gaming, to homework, to emails and browsing this PC holds up. It is easy to connect to my monitor and comes with a wired keyboard and wired mouse. The keyboard is slim and has little flaps to elevate the backend of the board for ergonomically support. The mouse is also slim and glides with ease. Everything hooked up easily and setup was quick. It connected to my internet just fine and works just like a regular sized PC. Response time is quick and does not lag. Storage is decent, haven’t ran out of room or needed a backup yet…not even close. My wife uses it for her online small business and is able to wirelessly connect her printers. My kids use it for homework and reading books online and never had any issues. It is a great computer for the whole family and a space saver in the home office.

Powerful Little Machine
Such a wonderful, powerful little machine! The The HP Elite Elite Mini 800 G9 Desktop comes with a keyboard, mouse, and the pc. It has 16 Gb of memory and 256 GB SSD storage. The operating system is Windows 10 Pro. The pc is very fast and responsive because of the terrific intel® Core™ i7-12700T processor. There are plenty of ports for all of my devices. It's very compact and easy to move wherever I want. I had no problems setting my pc up and it runs smoothly with no issues. The cpu fan sound is
very low which is great. The graphics are pretty good with the Integrated: Intel® UHD Graphics 770 card. I like that I can easily access the parts inside the pc by removing the screw on the back. It also is protected by HP Wolf Pro Security. This is perfect for my home office.

Small and mighty
I am very impressed by the level of quality and speed of this computer, especially given it's very small size. I got this for my home office (main office) and will only use my laptop for traveling. I work on projects with large data sets and images that require a lot of juice and this computer gets the job done. Highly recommend for designers, developers or analysts needing to work on a PC and don't want to drop thousands of dollars.
