Powerful mini computer
With the phasing out of Windows 10 in 2025 and my old computer’s hardware not compatible with Windows 11, I decided to buy a new computer. I was initially looking for a PC with a tower and then came across this model. I was looking at business machines since I work from home and wanted better hardware than can run specific programs. This model was expensive, but found it on sale on Black Friday. This is my first ever mini PC, but it is powerful. I bought it with 16GB of memory and an i7 processor. The hard drive could have been bigger (less than 350GB of usable space) with Windows 11, but it is SSD so is fast. I have been dealing with a blinking white light near the power button that does not affect performance, but is annoying. I have contacted HP support, but it seems like this is normal operation. Overall, I would recommend this computer, but you should spend more for better hardware so you don’t have to upgrade any of the parts. An upgrade is easy to do if necessary as I did open it up to check on adding a second memory module.

Incorrect Configuration
AfterI recieved the PC and installed software, I noticed that the ports were not configured correctly. HP support refused to send me the correct part, which is easily replaced. They also refused to allow me to return the PC for a correctly configured one. The amount of time I spent trying to address this issue was excessive. The result was unsatisfactory.

Pay attention to availble ports and your need
Purchased for our case manager. We have no complaints. Make sure when you buy it you know what the connections are. We did not pay close enough attention to this and we are running a double monitor.

Compact, Powerful, Fast, Quiet Workstation
When I started a new remote job a few months ago, I wanted a small, powerful, and dependable workstation. I needed something lightweight that I could easily travel with. This workstation met all of my company's device requirements as well as my own personal specifications. I am so glad I chose this. I use it for long 11 to 12 hour shifts with two 24 inch monitors and a webcam, and it has never overheated. It barely makes any sound when it operates. It has all the ports I need to connect my accessories including a wired keyboard and mouse.

Are the internal M.2 slots PCI 3 or 4? Is it possible to configure the two slots in a RAIF striped configuration?
Thank you for your question! The M.2 slots on this HP Elite Mini 800 G9 Desktop PC will be PCI 5 which is backward compatible with 3 and 4. This will also be RAID compatible. It is not sure what is meant by RAIF so the assumption is that RAIF was a typo and RAID was what was meant.

I am Korean and currently live in the United States. But can I use this product after 2 years in Korea? Korea is 220V, not 110V. I think it will be possible if I buy and use the power adapter itself for 220V when I go to Korea. What do you think?
There is not a way for us to tell in this case as this unit is designed to work in the US and uses a power adapter that limits the watts to 90w. If it uses a converter or a different type of power adapter, we cannot guarantee that it will have the same watt limit and function correctly or the way it is supposed to.
