Love this Printer So Far
So far so good. Didn't hear good reviews but I really am enjoying this printer. I think it is overwhelming at first but if you take baby steps towords it, it is great learning the Smart technology.

Print out is the same as a laser jet.
I really like being able to print without cables. The print out is the asme as from a laser print out. The size of the device is smaller and the window is very clear, colorful and practical.

HP sells old inventory when purchased directly. Returns are difficult to go and contacts are also.
The printer I received from HP was old (the warranty was almost one year out of date) and the scanner was broken!

Have three older HP printers over 10 years old still in good working condition.
I’ve had HP printers now for a number of years different models. I like this one easier to program connect quicker and put out a nice copy having the extra extra ink supply really comes in handy. Thank you HP.

Pretty large, but has what I need. DO NOT LIKE the private printing option took a day to get rid of it.

Not So Good!
The HP printers have not been easily paired with my Dell Laptop. I have spent endless hours on line with both Dell and HP and I still have to finagle around before I can get the printer to scan. For something that should have been an easy procedure has become a nightmare.

Overall Okay
I gave the 7955e AIO three stars because I don't like the control panel. I can't find what I want to do often. I also don't like that I have to remove the part that catches the papers when printed to add more paper.

I upgraded from a HP Envy 7855e AIO printer to this HP Envy Inspire 7955e AIO printer. I am giving my old HP 7855e to my daughter. I'm completely satisfied with the operation and features of this 7955. It handles all my document and photo printing tasks with ease. The quality and performance are very good on all tasks. I have been purchasing HP printers exclusively.since 1998 and have been completely satisfied with every purchase. This HP Envy Inspire continues that long tradition. I'm sure I will enjoy this printer for a long time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a high-quality home AIO Printer..

Good printer, not easy to set up. Had to do some workarounds with hp smart and was not as easy as these have been in the past. Also it defaults to black and white printing

Hard to find answers to issus
This printer is rather difficult to set up. The print doctor which came with other hp printers does not seem to work with this one. If something like printing doesn't work you need a represtative to help you fix it? Finding someone to talk to is nearly impossible and I finally found a back door! I will tell you that everyone I spoke with with various issues was very compitent and helpful. Even if the printer is hard to set up, the representative is great!

How is this printer at scanning photos? I had an HP Photosmart quite awhile ago and it was great at scanning photos...very clear.
I bought this printer for the purpose of scanning photos. They come out looking blurry. You would expect an expensive printer like this to make things very clear but the fact is my dad has an HP OfficeJet printer that came out many years ago and the pictures look clearer than this HP Envy printer. I even called HP technical support and they couldn't fix it because this is just this printer is. It's pathetic actually. I highly recommend not to buy it unless you don't mind blurry looking pictures.

How do I get 3 months free ink with a 2 year warranty?
During the setup using the HP Smart app, you get a request to join HP+ which is complete free as well. If you accept that offer you get the 2-year warranty and then it gives you an offer for the free months of Instant Ink and you just continue to that section to claim the free months. I got the printer yesterday and while printing photos on hp glossy paper (which came with the printer) - the ink is all over the place. I called for tech line and we tried everything its still the same. Very disappointed by the purchase.

Hello. Thanks for your question. You can use the HP Smart app to scan to email. You would use the scan option on the HP Smart app to share via email.
To make it easier the next time, we recommend using Shortcuts. It allows you to make a Shortcut, i.e. a scanned item to be emailed to this email address.
