It's an okay laptop for basic needs
I bought this laptop for my mom, and within the first day it was already glitching. It took quite some time for it to start. Sometimes the screen would freeze. Overall, I would have returned it but my mom didn't care to, it's not one I'd keep personally.

Underwhelming, doesn't live up to specs
I have been very dissapointed with the laptop. I replaced a 4 yr old laptop, that was made by a different company. I have been using more video conferencing, so I decided to upgrade my computing power. However, the laptop has been slower at every task. I have to wait for it to load every website, even ones I frequent. Sometimes 5 plus seconds. I might expect that if I had gotten the lowest budget machine, but this is a midlevel machine in which I upgraded the RAM and graphics.

Is optical drive phased out in newer models. Where in this store can i still buy with cd/dvd drives
Thank you for your question! As consumer demands for laptops lean towards slimmer, lighter, and longer battery life, internal DVD disc drives are no longer being offered. An external USB is a great option for this.

Hello. Thanks for your question. McAfee can be uninstalled from this HP laptop. Go to Settings>Apps>Search for McAfee. Click on the three dots to select Uninstall.
