A great printer/copier. Just what I needed for my craft projects at home. It enlarges, reduced and will print on 11x17" paper, which works just fine for me. Sorry it took me so long to be able to enjoy this wonderful printer.

Learning the Features
It's a new printer, and I had to learn how to use one of its features. At first I had a difficult time getting my computer to recognize the printer. And that issue has been resolved. Also I had a difficult time getting the printer to print envelopes from tray one. That issue has been resolved.

Great printer - lousy software
Probably one of HP's better printers due to it's lower reliance on their terrible HP Smart software. Disappointing the control panel is smaller than the earlier 8600 series which were great. They could make the scan to email setup a little simpler, but overall a good, robust printer for the home or office. We have two of them!

Pro:
- AWESOME printer! Best 11x17 printer!
- integrates easily once set up.
Cons:
- Hard to set up with pre-installed software on an HP laptop. Too many HP apps, hard to keep straight.
- HP didn't get warranty info right, they started warranty 2 months before I bought printer from HP.

the whole experience was a hassle; tech support ABSOLUTELY USELESS, machine print quality poor, no software included. Sp I can purchase it from Microsoft. HOW TACKY! Little window hard to read, fuzzy print. Thing does not have paper selection, plain, card stock, etc..

THE PRINTER PRINTS FINE BUT SCANS AND COPIES COME OUT WITH 1/2 THE PAGES WITH SOLID COLORED OR BLACK LINES, STREAKED ALMOST SOLID. MAYBE DAMAGED, REQUESTED TO RETURN. STILL WAITING FOR RETURN LABEL. SPENT LOT SOF HOURS TO MAKE IT WORK.

Great printer but very much need's a user manual. For those of us over 85 years with diminishing eyesight, glaucoma and macular degeneration, the tiny screen is almost impossible to read.

Great Small/Home Office Workhorse!
So far, absolutely love this printer! Exceptional quality print, wide format allows for large (11x17) prints, document scanner/copier is quiet, smooth and crystal clear. I would definitely recommend for a small business, home business, or in my case, executor of a family member's estate. I do wish it could support InstantInk! Frankly a little surprised it does not so I have to be mindful of ink levels (unlike my two other HP printers).

I have a dual service that supports 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz. Will this HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 Wide Format All-in-One Printer work?
This HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 will connect via the 2.4GHz network. This is not compatible with a 5.0GHz WiFi network.

There are multiple units that can print 8.5 x 14. The best fit will depend on how many pages you tend to print and the type of prints you will do most frequently. All of the OfficeJet Pro units can print 8.5 x 14 and print double-sided.
