Test the Fax
After serveral Hp techs and my phone company tech checked out everything, We could not get my fax to work properly. So I return the 8035 and perchased a 9015. less then a month still checking.

I love it so far.ive only had if for a week so i'm still figuring it out.it didn't come with an instruction manual. I figured out how to print out a picture and the colors were so vibrant.

Initial problems.
I'm still trying to learn the ins and outs of my new printer. Two problems I have at the present time is that, for some reason, I'm unable to remove my older printer -- the 8610 -- from the programs in my computer and install the new printer in the programs. Maybe this process has changed in the intervening 5 years due to improvements. But it seems to me that I ought to be at least able to remove my old 8610 from my computers programs.
Another problem I have, at the moment, is that my black ink cartridge has become depleted in a relatively short time and I'm awaiting the arrival of my "Instant Ink" so that I can continue copying. Printing now is sporadic on the page even though there appears to be some ink left in the cartridge.

I got conned into buying a new printer because my 8610 Pro would feed to make copies but not to scan. The HP rep said it wasn't worth fixing and it was 6 years old so I would be better off to buy a new one. WELL THE NEW ONE DOESN'T FEED TO SCAN EITHER!!!!! Wouldn't you think the HP rep would know that!!!!! I should know better than to trust any non-American!!!

Kinda OK so far
The printer is operating well so far. However, it was far too difficult to set up. I spent an hour and 45 minutes on the phone with HP support to finally get it working. It's also ridiculous that there doesn't seem to be a user manual for this printer.

Great capability and support.
Delivery was reasonably quick under todays circumstances. Haven't put the printer to much use but it certainly seems to work well. The best thing is the amount of support available. You are provided with software to make it not only easy to use it's various capabilities, but has the ability to troubleshoot a problem it one should present itself. I really like that.

HP Always Good!!!
Extremely happy with our latest printer. Great instructions to set up and great tech support help. Once I connected to our Wifi, printer started printing right away. Even learned new tricks while scanning documents. Love HP - always have - always will! And that is why we love HP!

It was a good product, just wish it came with a hard disc CD in the package and not have to ask for one to be delivered at a later time and date. Also, the online help is a little to hard to understand and i see myself as a savvy tech person, enough to be dangerous. lol

My New HP Office Jet
I have used HP products for some time. So I am going with what I am used to. I do like the printer so for though. It is printing well. So happy for wireless equipment. This is a nice printer and I would recommend it.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 printer
I bought this printer about a month ago. I am not happy with it at all. The construction is flimsy; the paper drawer is difficult to open and jams; when printing from the computer, it won't quit printing at the desired number; when I select "Cancel" it just keeps blinking until I turn it off and on; the colors are dark, not bright.

This unit was up and working minutes out of the box. My previous printer finally gave up. 13yrs. old and with the new unit i hope it will last as long.. I can even use my phone to get things printed. Wonderful. ConS: the touch screen is a little small.

We purchased the 8035 from HP direct. It took some time to get here probably due to the virus. The biggest drawback was getting everything thing to work like it should. We think that HP could put out more complete install instructions, especially the scan feature. Otherwise it performs like an HP should

Works as advertised
Setup and connecting to laptops was easy. Printing one sided, two sided, and copying was simple using the touch screen on the printer. Again, plug in the phone line and follow the on screen instructions to setup the fax option. also you get to choose color or black printing on all jobs. The printer also has various power savings settings. Its also fairly quiet.

Doubling Up
We already owned a HP 8020 series printed that as worked great. When the time came to replace our HP 8600 printer we didn't have any trouble going for a HP 8030 series. Especially like the idea that both printers use the same HP ink.

Very user friendly operation of my HP 8035
I purchased this unit thru Walmart, but it was actually shipped from the HP shipping center. It actually arrived 4 days sooner than I had been told, which was great. I purchased the 8035 as a replacement for my Epson 3-in-one printer, that has never connected via Wi-fi. Also, the scanning feature was so slow. I have had to feed my documents a page at a time. Paper feeder would always jam.
The HP 8035 unit connected right up to my Wi-fi without any problems. I have 2 Samsung smartphones, a Samsung tablet and 2 Windows 10 laptops that are all connected and can print wirelessly from each device. It took me about one (1) hour to install ink, set up Wi-fi connections and become familiar with the unit its self. I was able to find the PDF version of the user's manual. It is 205 pages in length and is detailed enough that I was able to understand unit's operation and find answers to my questions without much problem.
For those wanting to know how many seconds it takes to scan a document, i'm finding that each page was scanned in about 15 seconds. That was while using the document feeder or just placing a single page on the glass. That speed works just fine for my use here at my home.
I also like that where I can keep the unit always on. After an adjusted time duration, I can set the go-to-sleep time (5 minutes for me) and it does. Using any of my 5 devices to print a document, the 8035 wakes right up and starts printing from anywhere in my home.
I received a $40 ink coupon with a redemption number. I am probably going to wait another week to see what type of monthly use I am going to experience before I sign up for the monthly ink replenishment program that HP is offering.
The only complaint that I have is, like a few others, is accessing the paper tray. It is a bit tight, but eventually goes in and out. Don't force it or you'll break something. Other than that quirky issue with the paper tray, I feel the unit as a whole is a pretty good and solid build. Thanks -

Have had hp in the past, never an issue. Would not reccomend this one. Just shouldn't be this hard.

I ordered this HP OfficeJet Pro 8035 All-in-One Printer online thru HP.com September 1, 2020. So far no problems, love the 2 sided printing, makes wonderful color copies. I'm still experimenting! To date, I'm very happy with this printer.

Are there cartridges that are not Instant ink? I bought this printer used, and it is not letting me print even with ink in the cartridge. It says I need to update the billing info, but I don't have the old account information.
Hello. Thanks for your question. We recommend reaching out to the original owner to cancel the HP Instant Ink subscription. Once the subscription is canceled, you can use the HP 910 or 910XL ink cartridges with this HP Officejet Pro 8035e printer.
