Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from HP-Not what I thought I have always used an HP printer for home- I needed a new one that would I could use for work as well as home. After researching-I thought this would be a good one. It is not. The printer struggles to print anything of any other type of paper other than normal copy paper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed # no more from No a good printer At this time, I wouldn't recommend this printer to anyone. It frequently freezes and won't respond to input. This requires unplugging the printer and rebooting. I went to the HP web site to trouble shoot, where they recommended checking for firmware updates. Turns out I have the latest update, and no further help was available. Next time I'll be shopping for another brand.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 69horns from Some trepidation with newness Have used the 9125e for several weeks. Takes a lot to get used to after owning the 8600. I guess the most trouble I had was with the software installation.....and I don't know if I'm through yet. Once downloaded...I thought I was through with that operation but as soon as I went to scan....I found out that wasn't the case.....more downloads. I think I'm on the way now with my all-in-one printer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by The Chairman from Get this one! Better than I expected, particularly impressed with the smaller size of previous HP printers. Unbelievably quiet and super fast. Set up was a bit tricky and required listening and struggling with the typical AI junk I finally got a human on the line who was super helpful and fun. With 10+ years of experience with HP printers I still can’t find the sweet spot to set the print to “draft”.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Small business owner It just doesn't work for long before timing out. On a good day, you can get it operational again by unplugging it and plugging it back in. My wife asked me at least ten times if she could smash it with a bat. I am hoping HP will take it back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DSLee from HP OfficeJet Pro quality has gone down This is the second 9125e we've tried in a month. Both worked fine at first but then started making loud noises. My wife uses the printer for work, and now wants to return it for a full refund. I'm getting the run-around from HP support on returning it and getting the refund. We have an earlier model, a 9015, that's been working fine for years. Looks like quality is not what it used to be.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rocky Road from Average at best. I am disappointed with the overall performance. On the positive side, the set up experience was excellent. It was seamless and quick. When the printer is working it is an excellent printer. On the negative side on occasion when the printer is in sleep mode it will freeze and require a complete unplugging and restarting. It has also frozen on occasion while attempting print from my iMac as well, requiring me to go through the same restarting process. Finally, you cannot send a scan from the printer to the desk top of my computer. I could with my previous HP model. It appears this function is available for Windows based computers but not for iMacs using an Apple OS. This totally unacceptable and a real disappointment.

Rated 1 out of 5 by K M S from Do Not Buy This Printer This printer is basically nonfunctional. The paper tray is so flimsy and poorly made that it’s impossible to get paper to situate correctly and feed through properly. I’ve tried everything I could think of to coax it into working but no dice. It might work if I load one sheet of paper at a time. Luckily, the printer also refuses to remain connected to my wifi so it’s impossible to print anything anyway.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Anonymous from Waiting on replacement power cord A faulty power cord has prevented me from using my new printer for any extended period of time. The cord does not fit properly in it's retaining slot in the back of printer and keeps popping out of slot and unpowers printer resulting with a message "inproper shut down". HP has been notified and is sending me a replacement cord but by regular mail that isn't scheduled to arrive until January 6th. Good thing I kept my old printer (HP 7855) operational, because I would have been without a printer for at least 2 weeks. This is the reason I gave HP such a poor rating.

I replaced an older HP printer that mysteriously quit working, despite following multiple solutions to fix it on multiple days. Refurbished saved significant money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by LLounge from Not like they use to be This is our second HP printer for the office. Our original printer was a beast, and we replaced the printer head once. We had it for about 7 years. This one was the closest match. I do notice the trays and the top feel chincy compared to the previous one. So, if you are a bull in a china shop, I do not recommend it. But it is lighter than the previous one. Not that we move it around once it is in place. The app on your phone for it is a nice feature.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mary Dee from I hate this machine I've only had it a couple of weeks and it has left ink stains on papers and it doesn't turn off - so sometimes I have to stand there and try it 3 times - it'll keep turning back on. It gives me a message every time I open the paper tray asking if I changed the paper size. Sometimes my wifi won't connect even though it is sitting right above the router. If I unplug it and restart it connects. I miss my 8610 so much.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Spottedhorse from Still on the fence Very hard to set up, but I got it by myself after 7+ hours. I've done a few before from HP and they were easy so I don't think it was me. Might be a software thing. Sometimes it won't print sheets correctly online. Part of sheets, not both sides, not all of the sheets. Was trying to print 4 sheets back to back. So I asked for 1 & 2 and it printed correctly. Then 3 & 4 and it printed correctly. I went back to it hours later and it printed the 4 sheets on both sides correctly. Wierd. Other that that I'm happy. I'm going to keep testing it.

What would the cost be for two large office jet printers, specifically the 9125e and four medium sized office jet printers, specifically the 8135e. Also if my company is looking for a potential contract for these printers what would the quota for that be?
