So far, very happy!
The PC works great so far. Based on the price and performance this was my best option from all the PCs I found in all the stores and websites. I use this for work, organizing mostly and it works great on a Windows 11. I would have like it with more than 8GB Ram, but I have the possibility to upgrade it up to 32GB Ram!

Overall, is a very good computer, I love the speed and the built in DVD writer. Lately you can’t find them in PC’s. The only thing what set me back to give 5 stars the VGA option. Initially, my older PC ( HP also), had DVI connection so I was a bit disappointed when I saw that only the basic option is available.

Great and fast HP desktop
This HP desktop that I recently purchased is very fast for at least 95% of the things I do with it. I'm really enjoying using it at home. It has an SSD drive and a hard drive. I put all my applications on the SSD drive and all my data on the hard drive. A very good combination.

Lack of Optical drive choices.
Lack of availability of DVD/Bluray players/burners and positioning in the tower are bad. I liked the horizontal position of the Multi Drive (DVD/Bluray writer in my past HP computer) and the available expansion bay for an additional drive.

W 11 NIGHTMARE !
The Windows 11 that came with it is a NIGHTMARE, after one has used W 7 or 10 !!!!!!!!!!!! HP did not offer a W 10 option.

HP Customer For Life
This is the 3rd HP desktop computer I have purchased directly from the HP Store in the past 25 years. Each computer worked seamlessly for 10+ years. This time, I purchased just the tower because my old monitor (HDMI) worked fine as did my LaserJet printer and my HP audio system.
The speed with which the computer searches the web and downloads and installs updates to MS Windows 11 is amazing. The 12th generation I7 processor is flawless and the peripherals are in synch with the 16 gigs of RAM.
I trust HP for all my home computing needs.

Great computer
This is a very nice computer though I do wish it came in black. Besides all the storage & especially the media card reader, the dvd/writer was the main reason I purchased. Seems a lot of computer manufacturers are not installing them in their units. It should come with a Windows 11 for dummies because it is a whole different operating system compared to what I was using but if you keep plugging away at it, it will sink in. P.S. I still bought the book. .

Not worth the price
Because it is newer and has a higher processor I thought it would be faster and more efficient than my 2010 HP computer but it is not, so disappointing. Also I had to have one with a DVD player/rewrite but all of my home DVDs don’t play. The reason that I updated was to get a PC with Windows 11, but really regret this purchase. I would only recommend if it’s for a child younger than age 10.

I love my new PC.
I have been a loyal HP customer for many years now so when I needed a PC I shopped for a new HP. It works great. It pretty much set itself up and was super easy. Windows 11 took a little getting used to but I like it just fine. It came with a built in optical drive which many don't these days. 5 stars!

I trust HP products...
Bought this machine because I was on a very tight budget and it seemed like a good offer. Unfortunately right out of the box there were 5 hardware problems with the machine. I had to spend HOURS with HP IT everyday for nearly 1 week, but in the end nothing was able to be resolved.
HP sent the machine very quickly and the sales team was able to issue a return and refund very promptly.
I still trust HP products and will definitely purchase from them again.
3 stars for the fast delivery and return...0 stars for getting a lemon.

Better than what I thought

Does the pc support me putting an internal dvd or blu-ray drive of my own?
I just bought this computer from this HP site, and it has a DVD drive in it. No idea why the site says it doesn't have one.

You could replace the HDD with a SSD, but there is not a current build that comes with that setup. This does come with a DVD-RW and an ethernet port.

I bought the HP TP02-3055xt direct from HP on Aub 7, 2022 and mine came with a dual layer DVD read/write mounted vertically at the upper left side of the front of the case. Inside the case, there is room to add another HDD or similar and there are two open PCIe slots (one the long plug, one the shorter plug)

Hello. Thanks for your question. There is no option to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro upon purchase. You can upgrade to Windows 11 Pro through the computer. Press the Windows logo button. It is to the left of the space bar. Type Activation. Once the Activation window opens, select "Upgrade your edition of Windows". Click on the down arrow. Then, select Open Store. Finally, you would select Buy to Upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.
