Good Machine
Everything works good so far. Speed is good, memory is good, drive space is good. I like the front access to USB, Card Reader & USB C ports. I also like the DVD/CDRW Drive. Also, room for an extra Internal Hard Drive (didn't see it listed in the description when I purchased it; maybe I missed it?). Overall, I'm very satisfied with it. I always liked HP over Dell.

Fantastic Computer for the Money.
Fantastic Computer, but needs very minor upgrades. The Power On/Off button needs to be a little more raised as it is almost flush with the main case. Also, it would help if that button were a different color like gray as it is the same color as the case. HP needs to update their specifications on this computer as it comes with a DVD-writer, and an Analog monitor port. Otherwise, this is a great computer for the money.

The new HP computer works great
I ordered a desktop from HP because it had all the features I wanted for a reasonable price. I searched several other websites and none offered anything close. The computer arrived within a few days. I was able to load all my programs and files and pair with my peripherals within a couple of hours. Everything worked perfectly. My last HP computer was over 13 years old and still worked well, but it was time for a change.

Happy, but . . .
My hard drive is working really good, just not sure if I like the new Windows 11 program. Really hard to get accustomed to and seems harder to navigate in compared to past programs (Windows 98, XP and 7). Not all upgrades are as easy and functional as the oldies but goodies.

Responsive quality!
Great upgrade from my last desktop. Runs smooth, quick, and responsive. (Just one small thing is the (pre-installed) dvd software for watching movies. It works, and the viewing quality is just fine, but it could be better. Perhaps there will be a software upgrade at some point?)

Good value for the money
This is my second computer in this HP series. Solidly built and Reliable, with plenty of USB ports both in the front and the rear. The reliability is a big plus: often reviewers seem to pay a little attention to longevity and reliability of a computer as an important factor in a review.
The white color is easy on the eyes and a big help, as it makes it much easier to see plugs and ports on the computer. If using windows 11, I recommend setting it to run with no hibernation, because in this state a monitor may stop detecting the computer, so that the machine must be restarted.

Love the HP Brand of computers but this Windows 11 is questionable for me! This TP01-3055xt desktop computer has all of the storage, ram and power that I wanted! But I am NOT liking Windows 11 that came preinstalled and the intrusive Microsoft OneDrive that I THOUGHT I had disabled on initial boot up.

The HP system is fine, but most of my issues are with Windows 11. Set up is more complicated if you want to default to your C drive instead of the Cloud.

A great desktop from HP
The HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3055xt does not disppoint. The only drawback is that I asked the HP sales rep. that I wanted at least three HDMI ports so that I could connect three monitors and instead he talked me into getting a universal hub. This was not a good idea.
Other than that, the desktop performs as expected and delivers the HP quality that I have been getting over the last 40 years. I have never had a poor experience with HP products, whether they are calculators, printers or computers. The are and have been making products with the highest standards in the industry.
If you are considering a desktop with the features that the HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3055xt comes with, then you won't go wrong with this one.

This is a diy world today
Computer seems ok but sales rep misled me. I bought a service for over $100. And it turned out to be just for the hardware. Had to pay for SmartFriend to get any help to get it to work. No or useless instructions included

Quietest Computer Every! - HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3055xt
I was sad when, at Christmas time, my old workhorse HP would no longer boot up - it was 13 years old! As luck would have my husband went on the HP site and found the perfect computer for me. The HP Pavilion Desktop TP01-3055xt is compact and a nice silver color. When I turn it on it is quiet and smooth. I really can't say enough good things about this tower. It has plenty of plugs for all my external things - great computer.

Okay computer with some issues
Computer is okay, keyboard is terrible. Too many keys that nobody using a desktop will ever use and the function keys are difficult to see and you have to press another button while using the function key.

Spiffy little computer
Great replacement for my 11 yr old computer. 512 GB SDD enough for applications & 1TB HDD sufficient for pictures & music so I don't have to worry about filling the SSD. As a bonus the 310W power supply is adequate to add a basic video card in the future if I want to connect 3 monitors digitally. Just wish it had been available with windows 10.

Does the pc support me putting an internal dvd or blu-ray drive of my own?
I just bought this computer from this HP site, and it has a DVD drive in it. No idea why the site says it doesn't have one.

You could replace the HDD with a SSD, but there is not a current build that comes with that setup. This does come with a DVD-RW and an ethernet port.

I bought the HP TP02-3055xt direct from HP on Aub 7, 2022 and mine came with a dual layer DVD read/write mounted vertically at the upper left side of the front of the case. Inside the case, there is room to add another HDD or similar and there are two open PCIe slots (one the long plug, one the shorter plug)

Hello. Thanks for your question. There is no option to upgrade to Windows 11 Pro upon purchase. You can upgrade to Windows 11 Pro through the computer. Press the Windows logo button. It is to the left of the space bar. Type Activation. Once the Activation window opens, select "Upgrade your edition of Windows". Click on the down arrow. Then, select Open Store. Finally, you would select Buy to Upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.
