My old hard drive was 10 years old so my new one is so much faster. However, I hate that hard drives no longer have a CD slot so I can put my CDs on a USSSS drive without having to purchase a new piece of equipment.

Nice machine
Very fast, quite, easy to work with. It is somewhat limited by internal expansion space. It can only hold two rotational drives and it’s only got one or two slots for memory cards. My old Pavilion held a half dozen memory cards, and more drives. But it does work wonderfully.

Amazingly fast.
it was past time to upgrade my old Pavillon Desktop, so I went to the HP Store and found a similar but more advanced Pavillion. It is now installed and super-fast. I am so pleased with this replacement I kick myself for not upgrading sooner. A specific area that comes to mind was in my Internet connection speed. I went from 85-90 Mbps to 375 Mbps.

New to Windows 11
New desktop is still very new to me with Windows 11. But so far I'm really liking how fast it is and user friendly. Have only bumped into one issue with attempting to reinstall embroidery programs but after a bit of time did get it to open. One other program for longarm quilting installed fine but could not activate the dongle so thinking Windows 11 just is way to advanced for the dongle to function.

Overall, a good machine and a good value. A comment is that it needs a drive activity indicator on the front panel. Also, HP could offer an upgrade to Windows 11 Pro, although that's easily done via Microsoft or a reseller. The bright white color of the caseis a bit jarring.

Had a 1tb HP computer and was running out of space. Got this computer with 2tb and SSD, am loving it. Boots up so quickly that I am often turning it off instead of just leaving it on. It flies loading web pages. Overall, a good purchase.

Seems like a nice desktop with everything the home user needs. They did explain that it is not a gaming computer. Doesn’t come with the usual Windows keys, but you can access thru key strokes if you look it up in internet. Works fine so far, just got it a week or so, so have to use it for awhile to be sure of performance.

Good computer, software taking over
The computer is fine, I am having issues with Windows 11 and Microsoft taking over my computer and have had to call HP and others to help me. It is crazy that my computer should be blocking content, especially when it is for my work or my studies. I can not open attachments nor links in my emails. I hope this isn't something AI created!

CONCERNED POWER ISSUE I
My 13 year old DELL crashed less, just couldn't carry newest Adobe Suite like I want I noticed that.
I've only had this new tower for a few weeks but noticed that new Adobe products freeze and I have to restart. Seems I have a troubleshoot a lot of things to figure out where the problem is. I seriously hope it isn't the new tower I purchased from you. therefore I can't really answer questions yet.

I needed a computer !
I needed a computer , I had a laptop which did not last very long . Wireless does not all ways handle the internet very well at times . More secure was what I needed . It took a while to find something . I asked and looked around for what was available . Some were good and not so good . I was told to try HP .com on line . Look at everything that they have . I found something after a few days on there Web site . I asked about this system , got some answers . Thought carefully about this . Felt good about this decision , then made this purchase . I got everything I wanted at a price I could afford . This is now up and working very well for me . Thank you for all of your help in this purchase .

From Windows 7 to Windows 11... a big jump!
I did tons of research before deciding on this computer, not only on which brand to buy, but everything it should include. I took into consideration the cost as well as the reasons I use it. I got it simply for personal use, not for business or gaming. I do lots of research on things I buy or have an interest in, or for a problem I want to solve. I love doing charts on Excel and I type recipes etc on Word. I also summarize the bible as I read it. That's mostly what I use the computer for. I am still adjusting to this one. I am almost 65 and not too tech savvy so this has been a great challenge for me. I hadn't been getting updates on my Windows 7 computer for years so everything is new and very frustrating. I know I will appreciate all the changes and new features overtime, so I am trying to be patient as I learn. I like having all the ports on the front of the computer to plug things into, as I have lots of things I plug in, including a microphone for voice typing, which is also new to me. I'm not real fond of the tiny slit that you stick your fingernail into to turn on the computer. I'm not sure what the purpose of that is. A regular, easy to press button would be nice. I expected this computer to be super-fast compared with my old one and so far, it is faster but not as fast as I was expecting. I have no doubt that I will appreciate all that it does, more and more the longer I use it and I don't expect to ever buy another computer. I hope this review helps you in some way.

Does the pc support me putting an internal dvd or blu-ray drive of my own?
I just bought this computer from this HP site, and it has a DVD drive in it. No idea why the site says it doesn't have one.

You could replace the HDD with a SSD, but there is not a current build that comes with that setup. This does come with a DVD-RW and an ethernet port.

I bought the HP TP02-3055xt direct from HP on Aub 7, 2022 and mine came with a dual layer DVD read/write mounted vertically at the upper left side of the front of the case. Inside the case, there is room to add another HDD or similar and there are two open PCIe slots (one the long plug, one the shorter plug)
