It is a good laptop but the screen glitches (box arrived with dent) and I placed a case so they would help me take the next steps to get a new one in exchange and I have not been reached out to. I paid for express shipping because I needed it fast only to get a broken laptop.

Almost good enough.
Very nice laptop. 2 negatives though, 1 of which I should have noticed. The keyboard is silver making it a little difficult for my eyes to make out the individual letters. 2. The battery dosen't last as long as advertised, definitely disappointed there.

Fast but...
It's faster, at least now when I don't have a lot loaded but at 71 years, it's a bit annoying to learn the quirks of Windows 11.
Also, being a laptop, the sharper edges on this one are not helpful if using it in bed as I currently am while recovering from surgery.

The laptop is not bad at all. Its fast and the best part is I got a good deal on it. Its made to assemble so it takes a while for shipping but I think its worth it. I'd definitely order again if I need to. You get more bang for your buck here instead of buying it somewhere else. Just wait for sales and deals.

Fast, reliable and great picture.
Nice clean design and I love the backlit keyboard and the way the lights turn off, when not using it. I was surprised to find the keyboard is easier to read in the daylight when the backlit feature is off. The screen is just right for my needs. I would have ordered the 17", but my backpack fits the 15" perfectly. Great, clear picture. The computer is fast, with a quick start-up and shutdown.

Great Laptop
This is a great laptop, however, it was shipped in a box that wasn't the original box and it had no power supply. After dealing with customer service over several days, I learned that they were out of power supplies and they suggested I buy one from a 3rd party and send the receipt to them and they'd reimburse me. While I wasn't happy about having to do that, I did, and they did in fact, reimburse me. Other than that, the machine is great.

I would not purchase again.....
This Windows 11 laptop is average compared to my previous Windows 10 Model. It does not have an ethernet port and has an extremely annoying "time out" feature when using the backlit keyboard. In other words, it times out and goes dark if no keyboard buttons are used within 15 seconds or so. It cannot be adjusted to be either on or off with the push of a button like my old Windows 10. I was not made aware of this at the time of purchase. I would not purchase this H-P laptop again.

Windows 11, not that great.
This HP Pavilion is great hardware-wise; but the email program failed to load so there were many hours spent with HP Care SmartFriend support which we are paying for. Email works now but it is still messed up. It is my wife's laptop.

Will this laptop snap into docking station ?
Hello, Chuck. Thanks for your question. There is not a docking station that you can snap this HP Pavilion laptop into. You can use a Universal USB Docking Station. You want to be sure the docking station has the video ports, i.e., HDMI, on the monitors.

is it possible to upgrade RAM in the future? i.e. able to access RAM and pull it out and replace with another RAM? or is it soldered in and not replaceable?
This model is not designed for easy access to the internals. It is possible, but it would be recommended to have a specialist do it.

This is the second time asking this question, (and I know what amount and speed of memory it comes with). What I want to know is if this laptop will support DDR4 3600 memory as I would like to upgrade to this speed of memory as it is better for Ryzen cpus
