Compatible with Pavilion 16 and charges laptop
I left a review on a HP Thunderbolt 120W Dock G4 saying is was compatible with my Pavilion 16 which was wrong. I returned that for the USB-C Dock G5 which is actually the dock I ended up buying because it is truly compatible with the Pavilion 16. Charges the laptop, has all the ports I need to keep a clean desktop and connect to the Samsung TV I use for a monitor. It may be more expensive than other docking stations but they wouldn't do everything I needed. The only thing I that's comparable is the similar IBM ThinkPad dock which is around the same price.

It's fine but glitchy.
These don't seem to be very stable. I have them in my office and my third monitor has never worked properly with it. I've had others that just fail to connect to a laptop until we've rebooted the laptop 3+ times. The 1 year warranty is pretty limiting when you have issues like this.

Great docking station, all the features I need and works flawlessly so far.
I replaced a desktop PC that I built in 2010 because it would not support Windows 11. I went with a laptop to have with me when I travel and wanted to continue using my dual displays and wired network connection and sound system in my home office. This was very easy to install, update and configure and has all the features I needed.

The HP USB-C Dock G5 is amazing. I'm able to plug all my accessories (2 external drives, 1 exterior monitor, my ethernet cable, and my iPhone) to support my HP laptop computer. Makes working on my laptop a breeze. I would definitely recommend this Dock.

You can use a Universal USB Docking Station . You want to be sure the docking station has the video ports, i.e. HDMI, that are on the monitors.

Is this compatible with a HP ProBook x360 435 G9 to power the laptop? I typically charge my laptop via the USB-C PD port, but have now had several docking stations that say they can power it via the USB-C port, but then do not.

My old HP dock is failing and I've got an HP ProBook 650 G8 Notebook PC that I need to be able to connect 3 monitors to. I've tried a 3rd party one and it's not seeing the monitors. Will this support 3 monitors for my laptop?
