However, I also have the need for frequent scanning of documents, many of which have many pages. The Smart Tank 6001 does not have a feeder tray, only a flat bed, allowing for one page at a time.

A top feed would be far easier to use than the current removal of the paper and top tray, along with the hard-to-reach feed guides. While printing on paper was good, I had to call hp to get a tech to install a driver that cured the fuzzy printing on envelopes.

    does that auto 2 side print work with legal size paper

    Sublimation is somewhat dangerous. You need specific inks that atomize at relatively low temperatures and then adhere to the desired object. OSHA would tell you that ventilation is critical. So HP only makes commercial-grade sublimation printers(HP Stitch). For home users, Waterslide paper is the best alternative. Print, seal with clear acrylic, and transfer with water (noting that post-transfer more coats of clear acrylic aren’t a bad idea for many applications) and you get basically identical results with fewer possible toxic exposure events. With Waterslide, or Iron-On, nearly every printer will work, just make sure you have the right paper for your printer type.

    It is unclear what is being asked. Are you referring to where to put the ink in the printer? Or what to do with the ink after you have filled the printer? For instructions on where to install the ink the User Guide is located at this link and will walk you through the process. https://support.hp.com/ie-en/product/hp-smart-tank-6000-series/2100178737/manuals If you have leftover ink simply seal the bottle top and you are good.
