A solid and reliable printer.
The installation process, for the HP Smart Tank 6000 series is incredibly simple. You have the option to connect it to your computer or use a device and follow the instructions or refer to the manual. The refill process is hassle free thanks to spill bottles. Setting it up through the QR code was a breeze; I used my phone to set up the Wi-Fi connection using the HP app seamlessly moved from one step to another once each task was completed. Filling the tanks was quick and mess free while attaching the print heads was effortless. Excellent printer. Fast and quiet. Prints pictures fast and with great quality. HP Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One Print, Scan, Copy, Wireless. Automatic two-sided printing. Print speed up to 12 ppm (black) and 7 ppm (color). Whether it's scanning, copying, or printing, this machine does it all with unparalleled efficiency. This printer is a good value and prints well for its small size. Economic printer worth the frustrating set up
HP's Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One Printer has overall been a great printer for our household. The only frustration that I experienced was in the set up. I don't feel like the instruction booklet included or the app fully walked you through what you were supposed to do. I fumbled for quite a bit to figure out how to get it all set up and connected to my WiFi and computer. Once that was done though, I have been pleased with the functionality and quality of prints. Things come out slightly wet at first but dry quickly. I really love the ink tanks and the fact that they should last a couple of years. That completely eliminates the frustration of having to buy ink so much like we are used to. This printer is extremely cost friendly and I'm looking forward to using it for more printing projects.

Great color printer
I set this up to use with my computer and phone wirelessly. I did need some help from my husband especially with the phone set up. Overall it took about an hour and half to do the complete set up. It works smoothly, quickly, and prints clearly with great color. Very small display window, most actions need to be done through the app. If you don't mind using the app, and I don't, it works great! If it delivers as promised with the ability to get as many prints as quoted it's a a great deal!

Recommended for family and professional use
For some reason, I use a lot my phone to print work related information as I work remotely, or to print personal documents. I use my printer almost daily and I had an old HP for many years (exactly 10 years). My old HP printer started to act out and I really wanted to see what’s the deal with the new tank printer.
While doing my research, I saw that the amount of ink used will still be the same, but the ink stock you have in those tanks is way bigger.
I was curious and I tried to use premium photo paper, let’s say it didn’t work (Or I am not using it properly, which can be the case too). As it is not my primary use, I will continue to let professionals print my pictures, I am not removing any stars for that. On the contrary, I printed some pictures on good-quality paper, and it was pretty good. For crafts, it is perfect.
Size-wise, the Printer is larger than what I used to have. Larger but lighter. The printing is fast, and more importantly, the quality of the scan is amazing with a resolution up to 1200x1200 dpi (And scanning is super-fast too!). I am working on a side project where I must scan some very old documents and I can get a nice printing resolution on those documents.
After a few days of using it, I didn’t see any changes in the volume of ink. Time will tell if a full tank lasts 6 months to a year. So far, I am very satisfied.

Great tank printer from HP
This is my first tank printer and my family loves this winner from HP. It arrived very well packaged and the set up was so easy. The print quality is outstanding. The ink installation is very easy and not a drop spilled with the design of the bottles. I highly recommend this printer for home or home business use. I’m very satisfied with this printer.

Quick setup and quality printing
I set up the printer on my phone since that's usually what I print document from. The setup took less than 20 minutes and was so easy to complete. It probably could have taken me even less time but I ran into a little user error when putting in the cartridges. The app was able to advise me of what was causing my error and the step by step guide with the pictures was a lifesaver. My older printer was also an ink printer so I'm used to the speed compared to a Laserjet printer, but this printer is much smaller than my previous all-in-one so that's a definite plus. The quality of the printer is great no smudging and the colors are vibrant. I would definitely recommend this to family and friends. I can't wait to see how long the ink lasts compared to traditional cartridge printers.

Very Nice Printer
This printer was super easy to install. I downloaded the HP app which had instructions that made installing it so easy. I was very impressed. I was worried that the bottles of ink would be messy, but they were not messy at all. It did not take long to set up the printer. I love that it is wireless, prints color or black and white and scans and copies. I also downloaded the app on my phone so I can print from my computer or my phone. The printer is not large, but it was a little bigger than I thought it would be. The ink is supposed to last two years, so I am anxious to see if that is true. I am very happy so far with this printer.

Great Printer
I really like this printer. Compared to my previous printer it is much easier to use. The print quality is so clear and crisp without smearing. Filling the ink cartridges was super easy. You could hear my previous printer all through the house when it printed but not this one. It is amazingly quiet and fast!

This HP Smart Tank 6001 is fantastic. It was insanely easy to setup on my pc and my android smartphone, took all of 5 mins. Love how much ink this printer holds, much better way than previous printers I have had with multiple cartridges. Ink was simple to put in, no mess at all, not even a drop. The two print heads it comes with were also very easy to install. Easy to load the paper. Great instructions, written and on the app, very easy to follow. The print quality is great, documents and photos. Overall I am very happy with this printer and would recommend.

Great printer, vibrant colors
The Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One Printer has vibrant colors and prints efficiently. My old printer broke down and I needed it for work and school. It was a God send and came right on time. I simply love this printer. The set up was super easy and the ink didn't get all over the place. I am a nurse and had training certifications that I did at home and needed to be printed off for work. I wirelessly connected my laptop and was able to print without having to search for it. It was fast and so easy. I was even able to print off a document from my phone.

Great at home printer!
Overall, I have been very pleased with this printer. We print on a fairly regular basis and the quality is amazing. We have run into challenges in the past with other printers that leverage cartridges and running out of ink quickly. I love the feature of the liquid and being able to monitor the usage and what is left as we are printing. The set up of the printer itself was fairly straightforward. It’s a very sleek and non bulky design. We did have some network issues connecting to the app and the printer. It took a few tries and then we were finally in. The ability to print via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth is great. I would definitely recommend this printer to others.

I recently had the pleasure of using the Hp smart tank 6001 all in one printer and its safe to said that it changed my perception of what a printer can do. This printer is a game changer for anyone seeking high quality prints , cost and convenient features.

what I like the most is the ink cartridges , as this printer boasts a revolutionary ink tank system.The ink tanks are transparent, so you can easily see the ink levels and and refill them when needed, and refilling the tank is mess free .

Never buy ink cartridges again!
It's an overall great printer w/ a few minor drawbacks. Additionally it's a great value coming with tons of ink, I would guess at least 4 ink cartridges worth.
Pros:
-No more ink cartridges
-Great quality prints
-Well designed ink bottles and reservoirs so there’s no ink leakage or cleanup
-All in 1 printer scanner copier design
-Quick printer even on high quality
Cons:
-Less than optimized setup
-App required to connect to network
-Noisy Scanner
-Cartridge like printer heads that may eventually need to be replaced

What a Tank!
The HP Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One Printer is a machine that will undoubtedly be put to work in my house as my daughter is in school, my wife is a teacher, and I am currently pursuing my master's degree. With all of our printing needs, we are going to need a multifunction printer that won't have us running to the store every few months to buy in cartridges. Thankfully, the HP Smart Tank 6001 All-in-One Printer's reservoirs can hold enough ink to potentially last us up to two years! I also loved how easy it was to set up the printer with the HP Smart app as it gave me step-by-step instructions on what to do and when and how to do it. I was ready to start printing in under five minutes which my daughter was happy about as she had me printing coloring book pages from the HP Smart app for the ensuing ten minutes.

Printers Delight!
The HP Smart Tank 6001 All In One Printer was very easy to set up. Using the Smart App that was provided, walked me through the set up.
Filling the tanks with the inks was seamless. The scanner is quiet when in use. The color is true on the printed documents. Wifi connection allows me to print from anywhere in the house from different devices. Great printer for the crafter, the office use and school projects. It is a compact but powerful printer.

The HP Smart Tank 6001 is an excellent printer for home office printing. The provided instructions were clear and it was extremely easy to set up. Printing from my computer or from my phone was a breeze. In my opinion the speed is fast enough for home printing and the quality is very good. Also, the printer comes with ink bottles that HP claims can print up to 8,000 color/6,000 black pages! The printer is very nice and I look forward to continue using it.

Game Changer
This Smart Tank 6001 printer is a game changer for me with the tank type of ink, as I hope that I am able to not have to keep buying ink because the cartridges dried out! Printing out photos will enable me to send pictures to friends and penpals I write to that I don't necessarily want the whole social media to see. I am looking forward to printing photos, making cards, adding pictures to my pal letters and waiting to see if it lasts as long as it says it will.

Great Ink tank all in one Printer
Very smooth instalation process with clear step by step instructions. Enough ink supplied for "two years" of color printing. Perfect complement to my small business custom printing shop. Best two features for me are the incporporated WiFi to print even from your smart phone and the Ink Eco tanks that helps you save you a lot of money inestead of buying exoensive cartridges over and over.

The Last Printer You Will EVER Need!!!
The excitement starts as the package is left by the door and the unpacking begins!! The printer is packed so well and neatly you can tell there is a quality product that is enclosed and a superior company that invests in their products! The setup is easy as pie and the setup and reference guide is a pleasure to read. Then the magic begins as the printer churns out crisp color and black and white prints at a speed i have never experienced!! It seems to be the old adage "you can't have quality and speed and a good price" is not true in this case!!
I am so happy with the product and I have already started encouraging my friends to purchase it!! The wifi feature is very easy to set up and is key for me!

Loving my new printer!
When my HP Smart Tank 6001 was delivered, I had to move my previous printer (an all-in-one turned scanner/copier) out of the way to set it up. Speaking of which, the HP Smart App made set-up seamless. It connected to my network without issue and works like a dream!
I'm so happy to be printing at home again. After my second printer in a row failed me, I was in desperate need of a replacement that can handle the demands of my home business. Outside printing was very inconvenient and the cost was adding up fast. This new HP printer has given me my independence again.
The Smart Tank 6001 is quiet, fast and efficient. I have successfully tried all of its features. Now, I am looking forward to experiencing the advertised ink supply and print count (two-year and 6000-8000, respectively). All in all, I am pleased.

Excellent Printer with Easy Setup
The HP 6001 Smart Tank wireless printer was a breeze to set up. I unpacked the printer easily due to the pull out bag the printer was in. There was not an over abundance of packaging material to dispose of. I plugged the machine in and followed the online instruction to complete the setup of the printer. I was worried about spilling the ink initially, but the bottles are designed to be spill free, not a drop out of place. The app even connected the printer to the internet which was awesome. I printed the test page and placed it on the scanner and everything was good. I can print wirelessly from anywhere in my house. It prints pretty fast.
I would like a contained paper tray and a multi sheet feeder, but this printer works great and I can print in color. I would definitely recommend this printer.

Great Functional Printer
I love this printer! This is my first printer with refillable ink. I was a little nervous at first to try this approach versus expensive printer cartridges, however I have been impressed so far. It was super easy to set-up using an app on the phone and computer. I was printing wirelessly from both my laptop and my phone within minutes. I love the ability to use my phone to scan and print as I rely heavily on my phone for productivity.
I was also impressed by how much ink was provided with the printer. Most printers come with very little ‘starter’ ink. Based on the specs and the amount of printing I have done so far, this will have a high page yield resulting in a lower operating cost. The printer is a lot quieter than my previous printer and it prints fast. This has been a perfect home office printer. The print quality is great for the typical documents that I am printing (reports, spreadsheets, plans). I’m really glad I gave this printer a try. I’m looking forward to see how long the initial ink lasts.

Good printer.
The HP Smart Tank 6001 has been a pretty good printer. When I received the box I was pleasantly surprised that there were handles on the plastic bag the printer was in, making it easy to remove from the pack.
Setting up the printer was reasonably easy. I used the app on my phone for setup. I do wish that the screen on the printer was either bigger or lit up, I had to use a flashlight to make sure the printer was processing through the setup. It did say it was on my phone screen but I like to double-check on the printer itself.
Filling the printer with ink was also super easy. The printer has what I guess you would call windows on the front that show you the ink levels of the printer. I loved watching the ink level rise as I filled the printer. There is not mess to it either, you have to press the bottle down to get the ink to come out of the bottle.
When you get through the setup process on the app it will ask you if you want to send the link to install the printer on other devices. I was able to send the link to my two computers. I have already printed several documents from both computers. The quality of the prints has been excellent. I am so glad that I decided to go with the HP Smart Tank 6001. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone who is tired of constantly buying ink cartridges and would like to go to a printer with ink tanks.

I’m in Love!
This new HP smart Tank 6001 printer is a compact lightweight workhorse. I was so excited to see HP come out with a Inc. tank system with this printer. I can do everything that I need for work crafting and home. I can double-sided print, I can scan make copies whatever I need to do. My favorite two things about this printer are that I can print from my phone which is a big deal when you don’t have great Internet service like I have where I live. And the fact that I can refill the cartridges without getting Easter egg-colored hands. It’s so easy to use and set up. You’re gonna love it.

Perfect printer
This HP Smart Tank 6001 all in one printer arrived packaged extremely well and is fairly light for a printer. It is an easy process to set up, add ink and connect to a computer. It auto set up the Wi-Fi without entering in the password which was pretty slick. The printing process is super quick and the documents created come out crystal clear. It’s a great size for my desk and doesn’t take up too much room or take over the space. I would recommend this printer for students or small/medium office.

The HP Smart Tank 6001 All In 1 printer is without hesitation the easiest printer I have ever set up. Simple clear instructions made set up a breeze instead of a stressful experience. Of course HP delivers with quality- this printer is made well and prints as expected; clear color, quick printing and the quality you expect from HP comes through on every page! With two college students and a small home run business, a lot of printing is done in our home, so far we are very satisfied with the HP Smart Tank!

Just want to say it's been at least 15 years since I had purchased a new printer and HP is the way to go. I never expected it to be this easy to set up, let alone use. You have the option to follow the included manual or download the HP Smart app and follow the guided instructions.
Included were 4 bottles of ink which is said to last you 2 years and I believe it. Very easy to pour the ink into the machine. The printer also has ink levels to check your remaining levels. Printing is easy, scanning and copying is easy.
The best thing that I like about this printer is that you can print wirelessly no matter where you're at. Any picture I take on my phone I can print and it will be printed by the time I get home.

I'm in love with my tank
I think the printer,overall, did very well.
I think the printing could stand to be a bit faster, but im happy that it's faster than my previous HP home printer. I guess I'm used to the printers at work that print way faster than anything.
It was a pretty easy set up. No issues were had...not even when setting up the HP SMart account. I already had a subscription for the paper and ink, so all I had to so was cancel that one, remove the old printer by replacing it with the tank. I'm kinda sad that they don't have any ink or paper subscription for the new printer.
Over all, I am really enjoying the. Printer (s is my daughter).

Good quality printer
The HP Smart tank 6001 is a great product. Set up for the most part was fairly simple. I set up the printer on two computers and my phone. The only issue I had was one of my computers is much older and the website they give you 123.hp wouldn’t work and actually said the printer wouldn’t be supported. But when using a USB printer cable and the option to add a printer through Windows I was able to get it set up.
I love that I can print directly from my phone with no issues. And the quality of the pages printed is great and it will print double sided no issues.
I’m thrilled this printer has separate ink tanks for each color, there is nothing worse than having to throw out a cartridge because one color ran out but the others are still fine.
My only complaint would be the size of the printer it’s much larger than most printers I’ve had in the past.

Does this printer do well printing photos? I am an amateur photographer and I like to print my own pictures to sell and to share.
