7602 All-in-one printer is well deserving of a 5-star rating.
The printer came in 3 days and in excellent condition. This is the first printer we have gotten that uses the bottled ink. The bottle system is easy to use, and the ink is not messy. Well-designed fast system that prints without smearing. Great for home office or small business.

Prepare for A Lengthy Setup!
Setting up the printer required several hours. When asked to provide a password, I was not informed if it were a created or existing code. After hours of frustration, I finally resorted to the Modem-Router password and it worked. Why put consumers through such unnecessary torture? Clarify what is required. This doesn't have to be rocket science.

I Have Had Some Issues that Have Not Been Resolved. Otherwise I would give five stars.
I first purchased the HP Ink Tank model just below the 7602. In general I liked it, but I did have an issue that it would periodically drip the WiFi connection and I would have to reconnect it. I also decided that I wanted the auto fee feature, so I purchased the 7602.
It is a good printer and does what I need it to do. I like the size and the Ink Tank feature. I do a lot of scanning and it works well. I also like the remote printing feature and the fax feature, which can be used without having a fax machine, though I don't use it regularly.
After having the printer several days I needed to print an envelope. That is when my problems started. I had difficulty getting the envelopes to feed properly. That I finally fixed. Then it would not print, it would just pass the envelope through. After working with four or five different HP technicians, the envelopes would print. I use using Times Roman font, but the printing was essentially unreadable unless you knew what the printing was supposed to say.
I spent about eight hours total on the phone over several days with the HP techs trying the solves this. They worked very had and were great to work with, but could not fix the problem. They finally offered to send me a new printer, but I had to send this printer in first to get a new one. I can't go that long without my printer.
The techs could get the full suite of drivers to load and could not figure out why. My computer was also new, a Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 that came out in mid-June. Maybe that has something to do with the issue. Frankly, I can't afford to spend any more time on this. I may try to contact Microsoft in a few days and see what they have to say.
Also, through all this the blue light indicating the printer was connected to my WiFi quit working, though the printer was connected properly. Have no idea what is causing this.
The HP techs were great to work with, they just could not solve the problem.

When i use the fax capability, does it have to be connected to a landline? Or can i do it via wifi?
The built-in fax requires a landline. Digital fax is available via the HP Smart App that is installed on your PC along with this HP Smart Tank 7602 All-in-One.

Does ink actually provide 6000 (color) 8000 (black)? I don't think so. Just got the printer (and it is great) & printed 10-15 pgs/day for 3 days.The Black ink shows almost half empty. Is this normal? Sick of paying for cartridges. Hoped to save $. hmm...

The black can print up to 6000 pages and the colors can print up to 8000 pages, but it will vary depending on what you are printing and this is also the volume per bottle versus the tank itself. If you feel you are having trouble with the printer and not getting expected volume, you can contact HP Support https://support.hp.com/us-en to have them troubleshoot.

How do I add and save fax numbers to the contacts lists on the 7602 smart tank printer?
Hello. Thanks for your question. You can set up an address book in the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for this HP Smart Tank 7602 printer. Here is how you can access the EWS: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_2029438-1929621-16 Once you are in the EWS, you will select the Scan tab. From the left menu, click Address Book. Then Contacts. Click the option (+ icon) to add contacts or groups. You can also delete contacts or groups.
Once the address book is set up, you can access it from the control panel on the printer. Select Fax. Then, Send Now. Next, Send to Contacts. You will be able to access the address book.

The units that have access to HP Print Anywhere service with the HP Smart Advance app do have the ability to use a personalized email address which does include the Smart Tank 7602. When you click on the HP Print Anywhere tile in the app, the first thing it should ask you to do is set it up and allow you to add the email addresses you want to use with the service.

It is unclear what is meant by 2-Sided scanning if you flip the page yourself. It will show on your PC as two separate pages. It can then be printed as a two sided print, however.

How is the maintenance? Does it require regular use to prevent ink from drying out?
It has an airtight seal that will prevent the ink from drying out as the tank is fully enclosed. You do not have to print to prevent the ink from drying out. Same with the ink bottles which you can cap to safely store away until the next time you need to refill the tank. You also get a one-year manufacturer's warranty with the printer that includes HP Support if you run into any issues.
