    Is this HP USB-C Dock G5 compatible with HP Laptop 14-fq0xxx? I am needing to connect external monitors and only have one hdmi port on my laptop. Thank you!

    It will also depend on the unit you have it connected to, but it does allow you to connect two separate monitors at the same time for different displays.

    Thank you for your interest in the HP docks. We would need the model number of the specific unit you are interested in connecting it to. As long as the USB-C or Thunderbolt port has power delivery and DisplayPort Alt, it will work.

    Hi, I recently purchased this docking station for my brand new HP Envy Laptop I built with Windows 11 Pro. All of the functions of the docking station work with the exception of the display port or the HDMI slots. HP X32 monitor not found

    This Dock will be compatible with any laptop with a USB-C port that supports data transfer and does support charging or external monitors. Based on HP internal testing on select non-HP notebook models compatible with USB-CTM industry standards. Certain Alt mode features are not supported, such as the power button, MAC Address Pass-Through, Wake-on LAN, and OOB Wake on LAN.     I have just purchased a HP Omen 16-b0009na, what is the best docking station as I want o use two additional monitor to extend my desktop. The monitors that I have are currently HDMI input.

    Thank you for your question! Most of the current HP Docks will be good for this. However, HP docks come with one HDMI output with two DisplayPort outputs. A DisplayPort to HDMI adapter will be needed to display your HP Omen on two additional monitors.
