Don't buy it.
Didn't work properly. Wouldn't always connect. Had trouble waking up the laptop and monitor with it. It's weird because at work, the one I have is perfect. But my personal laptop seemed to hate it.

Will this work with an HP 17-cn0075cl (product 500u27ua#aba) to power 1 monitor through the HDMI and 1 monitor through the display port? I need 2 external monitors and I have tried 2 different HP Docking stations and neither have transfered the display.
The HP 17-cn0075cl will not be compatible with Docking stations or Hubs in terms of display. In order to use a Dock or a Hub for video, the USB-C port must include PowerDelivery and DisplayPort in the USB-C. The HP 17-cn0075cl does not have that capability.

Will my HP 17-cp0700dx work with this? I had problems with a wavlink WL-UMD05 not allowing HDMI signals to monitors, but my laptop displays fine on these monitors when connected directly to laptop's HDMI output, Don't want to waste time and have to return

This Hub is compatible with PCs with an available USB Type-C® port integrated with USB Power Delivery and DisplayPort. If there is a symbol of a lightning bolt (Thunderbolt 3) next to the USB-C port, then you can use this port to charge and transfer a video signal. This port supports Display Port alt-mode.
