Works fine.
Seems to work just fine. Just wish the directions for hookup told me to shut off computer before plugging in monitor. Figured it out on my own.

Almost satisfied, but...
Great screen. I just wish the "Quick Start Guide" had a little more info, like where to find the on-off switch, and where to find instructions. I tried to get the User Manual online, but it is not available for this model.

Monitors do not turn on, cable did not conduct electricity to monitor. Spent 2 hours with customer service troubleshooting. Received replacement cables. Same results.

Good enough on sale.
Display quality is all "fine" right out of the box. I feel it could be sharper, but have not yet changed any settings. Build materials are a pretty durable-feeling plastic, and overall, it's a good deal at $90-100 USD. Should be noted for non-technically-adept folks that the 75Hz refresh rate is only possible with an HDMI connection, and from what I can tell it defaults to 60Hz so requires a manual change to 75Hz.

okay so i bought just bought this exact same computer on oct 23, 2023 everything is working perfectly fine but i cant get the sound to work but is it only because i dont have a tower with it ?
This HP V22v G5 FHD Monitor does not have built-in speakers. That may be the cause of the sound issues. This is just a display and now a computer but can be used with any device such as gaming consoles, streaming devices, etc.

Are these monitors compatible with an HP USB-C Dock G5, Model Number: 5TW10UT#ABA, for Notebook?
Hi Lucy, and thank you for your question! This HP V22v G5 FHD Monitor does have one HDMI port which will be compatible with the HP USB-C Dock G5. However, the HP USB-C Dock G5 only has 1 HDMI port, so an adapter cable would be needed to use multiple of this monitor or to purchase a monitor that uses DisplayPort as well as HDMI for display.

Thank you for your question! The monitor doesn't determine frames per second (FPS), which is the number of frames a graphics processing unit (GPU) outputs to the monitor. Instead, FPS is determined by the GPU and CPU's power. Other factors that can affect frame rate include:
RAM size and speed
Graphics card type
Amount of VRAM
Settings like anti-aliasing, resolution, and texture quality

How do you turn on the power to this monitor? I tried the button on the lower right in back, but nothing.

How is this powered? Does it have a power cord or is it powered through a laptop? Would I need to have a docking station in order to use it, or would I just connect it direct to laptop with an HDMI cable?
