PCmove says it will transfer both, but in reality, it does not support iTunes transfer. Customer service helped me but I still ended up with a manual process that took several days to get my music over to the new machine. The photos seem to be fine.

I could not move over exactly what I wanted to and was very limited in that regard no matter what I did. Also, when I contacted the products service center, the gentlemen over the phone of whom I spoke with was very rude, inconsiderate, and showed very little interest in wanting to help me or provide clarification.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Old HP Fan from Laplink PcMover Ultimate The Guide that helps with the transfer process prints 22 pages long. A lot to take in. I installed the software from the CD that came with the box. A message flashing on the monitor said to download from the web a newer version of the software. I then competed that. A Chat with the Expert on the helpline told me how to verify that the versions were the same on each computer and what serial number to use on the form. In the end, if you read all 22 pages, be ready to perform operations that they ask for the results are everything that I had on the old computer showed up ( and works) on the new computer. It’s either this or type 2.5Gig manually…nah.

how long does it take to complete transfer

The amount of time it takes will vary depending on the type of cable you are using, the speed of the drives in the units you are trying to swap the data between, and what type of files, apps, data you are swapping. There is not a way to give an idea of how long it will take without actually starting the process.
