27 I Monitor
I haven't opened my package, but every thing seems to be okay. It arrived in a timely manner and it was well handled. I trust that every thing is working fine. I'm just waiting on my gaming pc to go with my monitor. Besides that, I'll be on it now. I totally trust hp. My laptop I recieved from hp runs flawless. HP rocks and I highly recommend their service. Great team with great customer service.

Exactly what I'd hoped for
1440p monitors are more and more becoming the norm in PC gaming and I'm glad I was finally able to get my hands on one. This thing has been worth every penny!
It's not a top-of-the-line performer because, in the world of electronics, you often get what you pay for. However, for this price point, it would be difficult to do much better. The screen is bright and sharp, the colors pop, and the 165hz makes my games look absolutely stunning! It also has a very cool design aesthetic- I love the metal base, headphone holders, angled USB/HDMI/DisplayPort inputs and the exterior RBG (this isn't necessary for a great monitor, but I'm a sucker for pretty lights :D).
The only thing I've had trouble with is the external RBG sort of like to do whatever they want. I'll often sit down at my computer and they've defaulted to either whatever settings I had previously, or just the white setting. I downloaded the OMEN controller software on the Microsoft store and haven't had an issue since, but that's just one more program I have had to download which I only use to control one set of lights...annoying.
Overall, I'd recommend this monitor to anyone looking to jump up to 1440p gaming, however.

Very nice monitor but....
I bought 2 of this model and very happy with them so far! Beautiful design, minimalist, affordable price, and beautiful pictures as well! The only reason why I give it a 3 stars is because this monitor doesn't included Vesa mount bracket! There aren't many aftermarket brackets out there that fit this monitor. However, there is one guy on ebay sells the Vesa bracket for this model which I have to spend an additional $50 for them. HP representative is very helpless about the issue! HP! What is wrong with this missing Vesa mount bracket issue?! We need to know!

The new standard for monitors
The future is QHD. This monitor is 100% worth the money. Get this monitor if you want to be able to game competitively but also view your games and content in 1440p. The build quality is insanely good and the IPS panel is definitely an improvement compared to a TN panel monitor. There's a youtuber named "techless" that has a way more in depth review on this monitor and I recommend you watch it because it helped me be able to come to the conclusion to buy it.

I love the Omen X 27
I got this monitor with the Black Friday sale and have been gaming on it for about two and a half weeks. The 1440p display makes games look great. The response time feels even lower than other products that boast a 1ms response time. The 240 hz refresh rate makes everything feel buttery smooth. Getting this monitor was an absolute steal with the sale price and it works about as good as you’d expect a high end monitor to perform. Overall a great product and I am satisfied with my purchase.

Best monitor I've owned
Bought this a few weeks ago and is the best monitor I've owned. As a web developer all I need is this one screen and I get the perfect size for multitasking and the color recreation is perfect. Great for gaming as well.

Hands down to be a top tier tn panel
Input lag is extremely low its true what YouTube reviewers say about it and response time very good on level 3 setting on all fps. Cons I would say menu navigation buttons are not good and the LED lightening stop permanently if set to turned off. Aside from that it's performance is amazing for gaming

The best monitor I've ever owned!
Outstanding monitor with a crystal-clear 1440p panel. This is my first 1440p high refresh monitor and it's exceeded my expectations. I haven't been able to go much beyond the 75-90 FPS range in games (due to having only a mid-range GPU), but it's been smooth at those rates, and from the reviews I've seen of this monitor, I'm sure it will be just as smooth at higher refresh rates. Colors are brilliant and vibrant, though reds and yellows looked just a bit off out of the box, but a simple calibration fixed that and now everything looks great. The stand is mostly metal and is incredibly solid, and the entire monitor has a really classy, minimalist look; it's far better than most monitors in this price range with their pointlessly wide plastic stands and over the top "gamer" accents and whatnot. The RGB lighting options (which are cool but subtle and can just be turned off if you don't like them) are just a bonus.
The only downsides I've found are that the contrast isn't amazing - it's not bad for an IPS panel, but if seeing proper deep blacks in a dark room is important to you, you might notice it. And the stand - while it has height and tilt - does not have any portrait/rotation or swivel adjust. These to me are fairly minor, though.

Amazing 2K Monitor!
I bought this monitor a week ago. I feel like its the upgraded version of the Omen 27, which I have as well. The tilt is a nice little upgrade to its older brother (Omen 27). The IPS display is nice and clean compared to the TN. The only thing I wish was that I got it at the sale price for 380.00 from best buy.

Best Gaming Monitor On Market With Such Specs
The only other gaming monitor that competes with the HP OMEN 27i with such specs and color reproduction is the LG Ultragear 27GL850-B. Period. The 27i adds an extremely nice touch by offering RGB lighting options on both bottom and back of panel - both easily controlled through the onboard menu and not offered by the competition at this price point. The 27i offers a super sleek look along with a very premium feel to it. Performance wise - it delivers extremely well and I’d recommend this 100%. Look no further if looking for QHD, IPS, and the advertised Hz/FPS.

Absolutely Loving This 240Hz 1440P Monitor
I was expecting a fast quality monitor and I received just that. The performance specs were what I was personally after. This monitor is currently in the Top 5 amongst 240hz monitors at 1440p resolution. It competes with the best even though HP isn't well known for its gaming products. The monitor has worked flawlessly out of the box with no dead pixels and no damages. The packaging was very safe and assembling the monitor took less than 10 minutes. HP will be on my radar as a go-to monitor company in the future. Thanks, HP!

Solid Construction, thin bezels, and a beautiful Nano IPS panel. The diffused LED and chin light are great. Just wish the Monitor side USB B connection didnt block the view of the 2x USB A slots.

I have this monitor but im currently having issues, in all my windows and nvidia settings the monitor is set to 1440p 240 but whenever i go to the onboard monitor settings it says its set to 165hz at 1440p and i cannot change it.

Thank you for your question! Yes, there are many different ways to mute the speakers on the OMEN by HP 27 inch QHD 240Hz Gaming Monitor - OMEN 27qs. If on a Windows PC.
To mute the speakers on Windows 11, you can click the Sound icon in the Taskbar, which looks like a speaker.
You can also access the sound settings by searching for "Sound settings" in the Windows search bar. In the sound settings, you can choose the output device, such as internal speakers, external speakers, or a headset.
