Beeping sounds
Every time When restart the desktop, has Beeping sounds. The first one it has black screen and beeping sounds, and wait for a month for replacement, the replacement one has same issue every time when restart the desktop has beeping sounds. No black screen.

Love My New HP Omen Desktop
This Omen Desktop is great. Very fast. Unfortunately, it has a huge problem with the sound. When I plug my speakers in, there is a huge amount of electronic noise. You can hear the disk spinning up and down and just a lot of electronic hash. Very loud. I have a USB DAC that I used on an older computer. When I installed that and plugged the speakers into it, the electronic noise disappeared. Seems a shame that this is the second HP computer that has horrible sound. Other than that, it is great. Fast, huge memory, fast graphics card, lots of storage. It's audio just is trash unless you spend $20 for a USB DAC.

It’s ok just a few flaws all fixable
This is an extremely powerful desktop with the best components you can get with a price you honestly can’t beat. Only thing is I wish it would have had the 32gb ram instead of 16 and a faster storage ssd but again that’s all fixable. Do note im not sure if it’s true or not since I haven’t had that problem since I bought the same type of ram sticks that it came with but apparently the desktop motherboard is limited to what type of ram sticks and speed you can install so be warned also same thing for a second SSD.

Omen 45L - Great prebuilt for the price when on sale!
The Omen 45L with the i9-13900k and the FTX 4090 is a very powerful computer and a great value if you can get it when it’s discounted (~$2,600 for me). You cannot find another prebuilt or even DIY with the same parts for this price. For the model I got, 16gb of ddr5 ram is simply not enough for such a beast of a computer. Good thing you have extra slots to add ram or just straight up replace if you desire but it’s just so weird to see so little ram in a beast of a machine like this. Another thing that should be noted is that as is common practice by HP, the cpu is power limited so you are NOT getting true i9-13900k performance from the cpu. It’s more on par with like an i7.
Overall, the computer for me turned out to be a great value with great performance and looks good as well.

Amazing PC that exceeds all expctations.
Exceeds all expectations. Will upgrade memory and although the USB-C ports on the back does not say thunderbolt, I actually connected to a dock via one of the USB-C ports and hooked up my dock with 4# 4k display ports and utilized only 2 ports on the GPU. This way I hooked up my 6 32" monitors setup. Love the performance! Have tried different software including AutoCAD VRED and that runs seamlessly.

Ahead of the pack, adds a very calm feeling to the room with its zen sounds and lighting display. It has a feature where it senses your presence near it and boots up from sleep mode. No issues with the software and linking my previous account to this PC was seamless. Haves all the features you’ll need under omen hub. Gives you real time data of temps, cpu/ram usage. Overclocking is easier than I thought and so is boosting(?) overall a satisfied customer!! Do purchase and don’t wait.

Decent Machine / Fans can get loud
Fairly decent machine for gaming and general purpose. My son uses it for both gaming and school work. I do find fans too loud at time. This is the first desktop that I bought in last 20 years and I feel that connection can be better placed than all of them being in the back.

I was looking into getting new ram sticks Corsair vengeance pro SL (2x16gb) DDR4 would they be compatible with everything if I take out the Hyper X ones?
Yes! Any DDR4 memory will work inside a DDR4 Motherboard, most like you will have to turn on XMP (eXtreme Memory Profile) in the BiOS to get the full performance out of it, you can refer to google to find out how to do that!

Yes as long as you have a correctly formatted USB drive that has enough storage to hold the Linux programs you can go into BiOS and tell it to boot from the flash drive, refer to google to find out how to that, but it is quite easy to do.

Hello, Richard. Thanks for your question. This HP OMEN 45L Gaming Desktop GT22-1455xt supports up to 128 GB DDR5-5200 RAM. There are 4 RAM slots. If you want a total of 32 GB RAM, you can add two 8 GB DDR5-5200 RAM sticks in the last 2 RAM slots. The other option is to put a 16 GB DDR5-5200 RAM in the first slot and put the 8 GB DDR5-5200 RAM in the third slot.
