Rated 2 out of 5 by Repeated Customer from Lack of Coverage Comformation It's been 3 weeks now and I still haven't received any conformation that is 2 year warranty is in affect on my new laptop. It was stated from the beginning that is should happen within the first 2 week. Now I have to contact customer service for this information.

Is this available for extended warranty on a laptop with expired warranty or only for new laptop?

HP Care Packs are only available on HP products that are new or are still covered by the original one-year manufacturer's warranty.

Is there any insurance package which covers all including breakage, theft or loss? I go to work in a remote area and I want to be sure that my laptop and my data is insured.

I was told that if I purchased the warranty at the same time as my laptop, registration would be done for me. It never was! I have a receipt for proof of purchase. How can I use the HP Care product that I purchased?
