Rated 1 out of 5 by Best Buy Ken from The Death of the HP Care Pack I’ve owned HP products, computers, printers and covered them with the HP Care Pack for decades. It used to be that you would call HP and they would assist you in resolving your issue by either walking you through the repair verbally or taking control of your computer to resolve the issue. Yesterday, I had a problem with my printer, which is only about a year or so old. I called HP but was answered only by a machine recording which told me to go online and fill out a form so HP could call me back. I followed their recorded instructions and completed the form. The trouble is the HP website would not allow me to submit it. So there I was left with no help at all! I called Best Buy as I am a Total Tech member. Within an hour I had a technician from Best Buy at my home. I purchased a new Canon printer from them and the technician installed it. Bye, bye HP. Hello Best Buy!

The first time I tried to call, the rep hung up on me. The second time I called, I was asked to leave a message and someone would return my call. So far, no one has returned my call.

HP was true to their word and actually replaced my laptop due to it being damaged beyond repair. The extra few hundred dollar cost for the Care Pack was well worth it in my case.

HP is falling low guys, pathetic!
