The sales representative at HP had led me to believe that all problems were covered by the HP warranty. I called the Geek Squad at Best Buy who told me in less than 5 minutes how to solve my problem.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Lung from Scanner connectivity issue My husband and I each own one of these printers. Both of us had an issue with scanning and sending the scan to our computers. Printer keeps saying it isn't connected. We thought it might be an internet issue, so we connected our computers to the printers with a cord and the scan still doesn't work. Printing does. The only way we can scan is to a flash drive in the printer. We have tried reinstalling the printer drivers which did not help. Other than that, the printers are fine.

Thank you for your question! The advantage of buying now is the Care Pack starts the day of PC purchase or delivery, whichever was later. Also, that is an accidental damage Care Pack and will include Accidental Damage in the first year whereas the standard HP Warranty does not.

Pickup by HP: An HP-authorized courier will pick up the defective product at the Customer’s location if the pickup location is within the geographic location where the service will be provided, and deliver it to the HP-designated repair center. It is the Customer’s responsibility to appropriately package and prepare the product for courier pickup. Service requests must be received before 12:00 p.m. local time to activate same-day pickup. All other service requests will be scheduled for next-business-day pickup. Return Shipment: An HP-authorized courier will return the repaired or replaced product to the Customer’s location if it is within the geographic location where the service was provided. Return shipment will be by ground transportation and usually takes between three (3) and seven (7) business days. The Customer may request accelerated delivery at an additional charge. Service levels and response times may vary depending on your geographic location. Service starts on the date of hardware purchase.
