I was unimpressed with the difficulty of getting the website to work. There was also little detail on what exactly is covered once I clicked away from the ad. On the good news side a significant motivator for me to purchase it was that there's a service facility in Singapore where we spend the winters.

Registration ought to be automatic
I think it's an awesome idea, however when it comes registering and updating hp assistant to show the new warranty status the customer service is lackluster at best. Don't get me wrong everyone I spoke too was very professional and courteous, but Noone was capable of updating so that my computer shows my warranty. With this being said registering the product should be an automatic

New laptop issues.
Overall I am happy with it, but every once in a while, it just freezes up for a few seconds. As long as 20 seconds. Even while typing this message. It froze up for about 5 seconds after I typed "happy".

Not sure I know whhat I just purchased
Not quite sure what I bought or how I can verify exactly what it was I bought. I was trying to purchase a 2 year warranty/repair plan..
But not so sure. Maybe I'll not need it but I have absolutely no idea how to apply for refund if I don't use it

Malfunctioning touchpad and a bit more
A very nice 17 inch unit but the touchpad is sticking on the left side area and the keyboard being silver isn't as easy to read in certain lighting conditions. If the sticking keyboard continues or gets worse I'll have to return it.
The other complaint (sorry) I would lodge is that when I first bought it and turned in on, It appeared to immediately be taken over by a virus that started screaming not to TURN IT OFF OR TERRIBLE THINGS WILL HAPPEN! So I had to work through all that before I could load my Malwarebytes software and scan the machine etc. etc. Not a very welcoming start.
Otherwise it's a very nice machine.

How does it take 3 weeks to deliver an email?
I purchased my HP Care Pack on 20 February. Since then I received several emails asking me to review the product. The only problem is I hadn't received it. On 01 March I sent HP an email to ask where was my Care Pack. Their response it "it can take up to 8 business days" to update the account. Only today, 06 March, 10 business days later (or 2 weeks, as everyone else says it) did this reflect on my laptop. Shall I assume that any problems with my laptop would be covered just as quickly? Yeah... this is not how I expect to be treated as a customer.

The most reasonable refund policy for an extended warranty. Why doesn't all companies offer it?
Great computer, great price, awesome extended warranty because if you dont use it, you get a refund, very reasonable protection. I will only buy HP because of this great warranty.
