No instant Ink
current product is ok, but I had to discard 2 full cartridges that had an Instant Ink label, of course they would not work in my printer because I was not subscribed, I do not know how they were shipped to me, $60 cost.

Bad start turned into a great finish.
I purchased ink cartridges and asked for the two day shipping, knowing that it states that it’s not 100%. Tracking showed a label was created but it didn’t ship at all. There was a hurricane in North Carolina, the ink ships from Indiana, and I’m in Michigan so it shouldn’t have affected me but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited two weeks before opening a chat with customer service. They responded immediately, apologized saying it was in the warehouse and overlooked. They resubmitted the order and within a day and a half I had it in my hands. The service was great, the product is great, and I’ll definitely order again in the future.

Just the ticket!
The color and Black ink combo just the ticket it enables me to replace ink cartridges as needed. It is just more convenient to purchase them together than separately. I do believe it would be helpful to have a larger Black cartridge than the color cartridge so they will run out together!

Is this Pigment Based Ink? I have a 3637 HP DESKJET and I want to make photo transfers. I read Pigment Based Ink held up better
Thank you for your interest in the HP 63 2-pack Black/Tri-color Original Ink Cartridges. The black is a pigment-based ink while the color is dye based. Pigment tends to dry faster but be less bright making it a better fit for documents. The dye-based inks tend to take a little longer to dry but give you a much brighter image and that is a better fit for photos. Multiple factors have a part in how well the ink and the image will hold up overtime. The HP photo paper will also play a part as it is designed to lock the ink in and help give a more vibrant longer lasting image. It is complicated though since it will also depend on the type of photo paper you want to use and how you want to store it.
